It was very difficult to reach there with bag and baggage. Around 800 meter away from auto/ taxi stand. Got problem because of Non availability of dining facilities. No mobile network and power backup. The stairs are also very stiff.

The room was very good. Washroom was excellent. It is inside the fort. Historic view. Wifi facility has solved the mobile network issue.

The hotel is just adjusting to Jain temple. Even some of the temple shikhars are embedded to the room wall. View from the terrace is also good. The staff is too good and supporting. Parking is available at common parking of the fort as there is no space inside the fort to part four wheeler in day time. During night, you may part your four wheelers just inside the fort gate.

A huge fantastic room with a full wall of carvings from the ancient Jain Temple next door.Plenty of place for all your stuff. Massive bed.Fan and AC. Excellent shower. Plenty of electric points and lights.Roof top with restaurant directly next to and overlooking the Jain Temple.

We had a fantastic stay at the Hotel deep mahal the hotel was beautiful and the staff were all superb. We booked a desert safari through the hotel and we absolutely loved it. The experience we will never forget it was so special. The restaurant at the hotel was so tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel and the desert camp were so clean and we felt so welcomed and relaxed the whole time. The location of the hotel was great, within walking distance of everything. The view from the hotel of the fort is spectacular. The stars in the dunes were a magical experience. We loved our stay here and highly recommend it to everyone.

Small beautiful budget hotel in the 860 year old living fort of jaisalmer. The owner and staff johney was very friendly courteous, attentive, and always ready to help. so accommodating. Room spacious and clean. Would definitely return. Most -: Don’t pass up the of the beaten track desert safari - best experience under the star. It was a scam. The Hotel was locked. First I called on the number mentioned on Google just to be sure if hotel exists. After talking on the phone, I booked from Booking.com. I then called the hotel on the phone no available on Booking.com. It was out of service.. I then visited the house, but it was locked.

The mattress was not at all confortable. Bed had gap in between. When you sleep it creeks and the washroom locks are very old which cuts the hand. And they charged us 4k per night, ideally it should be max 2k

Deep Mahal is little beautiful budget hotel .Super welcoming and genuinely friendly staff. Little john (manager)were exceptional.The room which we were given was nice and comfortable. We had a nice chat with Mr. Yogie( owner) on the terrace from where, great jain temple view. He guided on things to do and specially places to authentic shop at in Jaisalmer. Best pashmina and real antique things I found in all over word. Also the arrange marvelous camel safari in deep desert. every tourist should do off the beaten track mobile SAFARI for real adventure. It is an experience that has to be had once in your lifetime..love all

Very warm welcome from johney. He showed us around the town and the old silver market which was great. The place was great, clean rooms, everything was very nice. The jaisalmer living fort is out standing and the trip into the desert was greatest . We chose to sleep outside to see the stars and it was a best unique experience. Thank you again.

We had a wonderful stay, thanks to the excellent customer service given by the host. yogie and the staff always greeted us smiling. The room and bathroom were comfortable, clean and very nice. We were given a room with temple wall. The host was very friendly and help us organising tours. He also offers desert camping in a deep desert non-tourist way and less commercial than the rest of the travel agencies. He even thought ahead and organise the logistic for pickup and drop off at the hotel. We highly recommend this place.

Traditional rooms and hospitality at Deep mahal Jaisalmer were at the best, The rooms were lovely, clean, spacious n tastefully done up. The most important point that I loved about the place is the way Yogie and Johnny adds personal touch to attend each one of his guest. His involvement in the day activities at Jaisalmer, makes the experience absolute thrilling. they are on a mission to make you happy. Did Pleasant desert safari with deep mahal The staff in the desert is very thoughtful and kind.the traditional delicacy cooked on the woods was aromatic and finger licking good. Highly recommend budget place……
