The stay and food were really good. Sunset point and sunrise were very beautiful. The packages that are included in this camp are very minimal.The tent rooms were beautiful and clean. Washroom were clean and very big. They had provided cooler also. They welcome us with tea and pakodas in the evening snacks. Food was delicious. Service was quick and very good. Humble staff, very cooperative . It was good stay.

Super cool place situated at Sam sand dunes. Tents are superb, spacious and well maintained. Package includes Camel rides, breakfast, High Tea and snacks and Dinner. Staff is helpful. Breakfast and dinner was very testy . Jeep safari arranged by the manager to the sand dunes was nice. Recommend the place for staying if you are visiting the sand dunes while in Jaisalmer.And special thanks mr ayub khan for this beautiful trip arrangement

We stayed with Family and Friends for 1 night in Red Velvet desert Camp in the Luxurious Swiss tents equipped with all required facilities which is very well maintained. The Venue is superb with Dunes around amidst the Mother Nature. Mr.ayub ,a kind hearted host took enough care and provided best of the services giving a feel of home On reaching the Camp were offered a welcome drink followed by delicious Lunch that was served by the ever smiling staff of camp. The evening was followed by Cultural Dance very well performed by the local artist with Camp Fire around which made it more comfortable and it ended with mouth-watering dishes served in dinner. The Camel Safari in the sand dunes was an unforgettable experience along with watching the Stars in the night. Highly Recommended Place to stay.Must Visit

People responsible for the camp are really nice and do anything to please you. However, the camp is really far from Jaiselmer and I wish that their location on booking was more precise. If I had known it was so far, I would not have booked that camp.

Booked under red velvet, taken to ‘golden fort’ - never given an explanation as to the reasoning behind this (have since seen ‘golden fort’ also advertised on booking.com for a much higher price, but the same place). Rooms were unclean, big knot of hair on the pillow, massive brown stains on the curtains, dirty cushions, no soap or toilet paper. In the pictures there’s a kettle etc there was none of this. The room is bare. The paint job js awful and the lock on the door is sharp metal I actually cut myself on just closing the door (thank goodness for tetanus jabs). They also came hollering around banging at the door in the morning with no explanation. Food was awful. No choice at all, they were just hand spooning everything out of one large vat. Bathroom had brown sludge all over it. Insect found in the bed. Outside there is trash everywhere. Staff are not well identified, all just wandering around. Kept pushing alcohol due to better profit margins we believe. We were supposed to stay two nights but as soon as we got there we changed to one night. I do not understand how this place gets good reviews and 9/10 unless they’re all fake reviews. We have been informed that fake reviews are quite a common thing whilst travelling in India.

Given a bottle of water on arrival. Accommodated us changing the stay from 2 nights to 1 with no cancellation fee.

1) Cleanliness is pathetic. 2) Water and other stuffs is chargeable more than MRP. 3) Food was not properly baked, nor cooked delicious. Restaurant was not clean. Plates and bowl not hygienic.

We had an extremely good experience in this camp - the room was brilliant, the food was great, the cultural programme was fantastic and above all, the staff was very courteous and respectful and arranged for the perfect jeep safari and camel ride - overall, it was the best experience one can have in the Sam Dunes of Jaisalmer - really recommend it to everyone for having a memorable tour

The details amd facilities mentioned about the property on booking.com was not there at all The name of the property is a lie itself There is no camp site with the name red velvet The property owner is cheating the customers

Their agent met us mid way and took us to camp juma instead !! Still we decided to give it a chance, but one look at the filthy smelly rooms and we cancelled our booking
