The location Staff Caretaker Owner This was a nice stay. I came for 3 days, stayed for more. I enjoyed my time here. Beach is at a walking distance. Good and ample space to sit outside at the property. Dani is an amazing host, he helped with everything i asked for. He can help you with organising your kayaking and other experiences. Loved the property. The whole vibe was so good. It was peaceful and close to beach and the town. Special thanks to Danish Chettan for the hospitality. Already recommended to my close friends about the property and will definitely stay there next time too.

Nothing as such. It's just the best option.

This is one of the most memorable stays I have ever been to. The vintage vibes are just unique and a must have experience. It's near the beach so it's just a great place. The bedding was super clean. They have a very friendly cat and the host was also warm and welcoming. Enjoyed the stay and would be back if ever visited allepey.

I felt very safe as a female solo traveller. Property looks exactly like on photos! It‘s big and lofty. The female dorm was very clean, had AC, towels, a huge mirror and windows are covered in mosquito nets. There’s a cool chilling area outside to socialise with other guests or to just read. The staff is lovely and provided tea and even prepared a savoury rice porridge for us guests to try. When the tuktuk driver didn‘t have change, staff paid for some of the fare to get me to the station for me to catch my train. I will never forget their hospitality!!!

there are many mosquitos, but they have mosquito coils and spray repellent available at request.

I had such a great stay here, the house itself is spacious and beautifully decorated. The rooms are clean, bed and pillow are very comfy. The highlight was definitely the staff. I was sad due to some personal problems, and they did everything possible to see me smile again – and they succeeded! Thank you, Ajmal, for being such a lovely, patient guy. I loved trying on the lungi, I'll never forget that! Thank you, Ameer, for all the rides, amazing food and showing me places I'd never discover by myself. You guys are amazing! Best of luck on all your future endeavors :)

Location is good, close to the bus stand (short tuk tuk away) / boats and walkable to the beach. All the staff were so friendly! They went above and beyond to help with figuring out my onward journey! Had the most delicious breakfast there as well. The room itself was massive and had AC, towels, big mirror, little mats by each bed to dust your feet off :D

Only one bathroom so had to wait sometimes, but it was kept very clean so that’s ok! Lots of mosquitos too but I think all of Alleppey is like that.

Loved the staff, they were so helpful and kind. Such a cool building for a hostel, it was worth staying just to see the building. There are loads of nice communal areas and it’s very relaxed and peaceful.

We travelled in a group but it would be a good idea to have lockers in the dorm if you are sharing with strangers.

A quaint and cosy colonial building. The dorm was sparkling clean. Toilet and showers clean. AC is available in the dorm for an extra fee. All the beds had a reading lamp and a plug, Ameer pulled out all the stops to ensure we had a fabulous time. Excellent hospitality. He is such a warm and kind person. He was able to organise a boat ride at a moment’s notice. He was quick to respond on WhatsApp. I recommend cafe catamaran for chilling.

there’s nothing to not like about it

The experience in this hostel was completely different. Although I only stayed one night, the hosts made sure to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The rooms are spacious, clean and equipped with air conditioning, the hostel is pure magic, it has an impressive garden and the architecture of the mansion is special. Tranquility is guaranteed for those who seek this, but also for community meetings, in the evening guests cooking together, playing different games and exchanging opinions among the bananas and the masala tree. The hosts are kind, friendly and always ready to help you.
