Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThere is nothing not to like really. Perhaps one improvement could be replacing current toilet seats with heated toilet seats. It’s impressive enough already they have heated toilet tiles and bed mattress.
No words can describe the view of the Mountain range from this hotel. It’s probably as close you can get to the mountains in a super comfortable setting.

IndiaNothing that I could think of
The staff are happy, helpful and very good at their work. The Manager, Mr. Shashi Kant Sharma, is a gem. Very helpful, courteous and responsive. The food is excellent - we had breakfast and dinner a couple of times and the preparations and menu were great. The property is very well furnished and well maintained. The location, of course, is unique - its in the middle of thick pine forests which you reach first through a 30 minute drive on an unmetalled road (through thick coniferous forests) and the last stretch is a 700 meters walk through the forests (the staff will help you carry your luggage).

IndiaWe had the most comfortable stay ever. The staff was very warm and looked after every need. The hotel has spectacular views and is a very well maintained property. The food was delicious and there were lots of local dishes along with a continental menu. The manager, Mr Shashi Kant made sure all our requirements were taken care of and helped us with transport. Highly recommend this place for people who would love to live away from the crowds and have the most beautiful view from the bedroom

United Arab EmiratesThe road coming up to the hotel was uncomfortable because there was ongoing construction leading to a rocky and bumpy ride, only tiny local taxis can go up and down the road. Let this not discourage you as once up in the mountains, it is absolutely worth it. The hotel has advised that the road construction is hopefully going to end soon leading to a much smoother road.
This hotel has given us the dreamiest holiday we've ever wished for. The hotel is located literally in the middle of the forest and between the Himalayan mountains. We loved everything about our stay. The interiors had a great welcoming feel, it was warm and cozy, had an incredible lobby and a reading room filled with lots of books. The sunrise and sunset views from our room were literally out of a calendar. The chef, Harmeet Singh and his team, carefully curated a thought out, nutritious and mouth smacking meal for us thrice a day (fully included food board) and the fantastic hospitality by all the staff members including our server Kabir and our trekking guide Sanjeev was commendable. Special thanks to the hotel manager Mr. Shashi Kant who went above and beyond to ensure we had the most comfortable stay. We cannot wait to return back to this paradise! It is highly recommended if you'd like to spend a few days up in the mountains and enjoy surrounding activities.

IndiaThere is truly nothing that I did not like, but be warned that the approach to the property is not for the faint hearted. There is a very bumpy car ride on stony paths from lower Dharamkot to upper Dharmakot (Gallu Temple). Then, there is a trek of about 15 minutes before you reach the hotel. They have escorts to help with luggage, but it would be prudent to travel light. The place, once you come upon it, is so worth the walk!
Amazing views of the Dhauladar mountain ranges. Lovely garden area. Staff are warm and welcoming. Food is fantastic (Chef Harmeet Singh can pull off continental food as well as he can Indian). Clean rooms, heater is available. The bathroom floor is heated as well, which is such a welcome addition in the cold. Lots of small trails around for those who would like to trek. Nights around a bonfire were the most beautiful. Peace and quiet for those like me who revel in nature, crisp mountain air, long walks and hot chai! The WIFI connection is amazing though this beautiful place is tucked away in the mountains. Mr Shashi, the manager is very knowledgeable and helpful with arranging transport for one to travel to McLeodganj or Dharamshala. Ajit, Kabir, Sanjeev, Ajay, Omi and Gautam are their wonderful staff, so ready to help you with anything.
