When I checked in , immediately after 15mins the property manager started asking me that I have to checkout as this is already booked. I said if it's booked why did u accept mine and took the payment as well. Had lot many discussions and at the end they managed to put extra bed in the dorm.don't book your stay here.

Apart from the location , everything I experienced here was the worst.

The experience was extremely terrible, they put me in a tiny room with two other men, not even half a metre away from my bed. The bathroom was super unclean and had cigarette buds in it. The worst was the receptionist who was literally always drunk and wouldn't entertain when needed. Infact they kept the room locked and wanted us to keep coming to the reception to get our room opened. They also have no power backup, so if the electricity goes, you sit their without AC or fan or light for hours. In all, it was a very bad experience. They would not return my money so I had to forcibly stay there for 3 days. The photos also are a lie, the rooms are not like it from inside

When we arrived. They didnt have our name. Then they gave us a price 1000 rupees more than our booking.com. They werent polite, just shouting. The room was minimal. But on further inspection. The linen was gross. Dirty pillow cases, sheets with stains, white sheets were grey. I just used my towel 😂. There was no toilet roll or soap (forget toothpaste etc). Though they did bring from the market when asked, but just goes to show how little to expect. And our hot water wasnt working. All we needed was a comfortable night sleep at the expected price and didnt get that. We arrived at night and was only staying one night, so the location was worth it as we enjoyed outside. Also be aware this is the exact same hostel as Maquitos Guest House. I've stayed in other places in panjim and had much better experiences. Book early in the day to give yourself more options than this place

To be noted that this is not a backpackers hostel, more of guest house. The wifi doesn't reach the rooms, there is a communal space with tables where the wifi works well however its not very comfortable.

Location is absolutely perfect! Everything is fairly good and the location is worth every penny! Staff are helpful and the breakfast is simple but tasty.

The rooms are very congested. I was moved from one dorm to the other, where there were two older men who decided to drink alcohol inside the dorm room. After complaining, I was surprised the manager decided to continue to keep them in the dorm and were not willing to give me a refund for that day so I had to stay in the same property because I had already paid for an additional day.

Very basic breakfast was provided and repeated everyday.

Just in three hours, changed 4 times room even if you pay 1000₹ per day you will not get towel also free. Very worst service don't ever visit here There is no bedsheets also we have to wear worst clothes

I do not recommend this at all. The property itself has only 3 rooms in total in the whole building. Only one guy to look after everything right from reception to your needs. They don't even provide water bottles. The rooms are too complex. The neighborhood is also quite lonely. Even at 8pm there are hardly any people out there so it doesn't feel safe at all. No restaurants nearby. Just hardly 3-4 small cafes.

It was right at the centre of Fontainhas and at a walking distance from Immaculate Conception Church.

The receptionist tried to scam us on arrival. This is a pretty common thing in India with foreigners; hotels always want to charge you for higher price than the agreed on the booking. When we asked the receptionist about the possibility of changing our breakfast time since we had a train to catch early in the morning he answered "it's not my problem, we can't change the breakfast time. Kitchen close". What a surprise. They didn't care at all. The room is extremely small, and the door leads to the reception, where the receptionist spend the night watching videos and tik toks with full volume. It was already 1 am when we had to go out of the room and ask him to lower the volume of his phone. They don't care if you sleep or not. Dirty sheets, filthy (very dirty) towels, and some weird flies all over the room made us think that we had paid too much money for such a horrible hotel. I wouldn't recommend to anyone

staff, room and the system of opening the door for other room mates while sleeping. the upper bunk is horrible. a beam runs above the upper bunk and you have squeeze through 1.5 feet gap. imagine squeezing through this gap to open the door for other room mates who woke you up when you are in deep sleep after a long journey, worse than hell.

I personally had a very strange visit - the hotel ran out of water the day of my visit and the staff seemed incapable of communicating properly - the manager eventually just vanished from the reception and wouldn’t even tell me his name, instead directing me to call the owner. All I wanted was a hot shower and a place to sleep before my flight in the morning, but without water the bathroom was stinking and unusable and I had to find another place to check-in to at 11pm. Despite the owner telling me I would get a refund it never arrived, so overall this was a very disappointing experience.

The location is excellent, you’re conveniently located very close to the casinos and also a lot of cute architecture, restaurants and cafes.
