The staff are really friendly, always trying to help you with whatever you need. The food and service were very good. Food is super tasty and yummy 😋 The location it was just perfect, in the middle of Dharamk, rounding of trees 🌳 and really quiet place to relax and share with other travelers. Also, they are planning different activities during the week, I love it 🫶

The people, the hosts, the cooks. The location is extremely intimate: you literally live in the hills, experience the hills beyond simple views. I was supposed to stay for 3 days initially, but kept extending my stay till 2 weeks. I can no longer imagine myself living anywhere else in Dharamakot.

I’ve been travelling in India for some time now and this is one of the best hostels I’ve stayed in. I planned staying for a day or two but ended up staying much longer and that had a lot to do with this place.I felt at home. Owners/ Staff are incredibly friendly, they help you with everything but are also just amazing people. The place is clean, the location is perfect , quiet, yet close to everything. Waking up with the chirping of birds and before bed sitting around the bonfire… it doesn’t get much better. Thanks so much. I will be back!

We had a fantastic stay at Eevolve Hostel! We originally booked for 1 night and ended up staying all 3 nights we were in Dharamshala. The location is perfect - a 10 minute walk up to the Main Street of Dharmkot, a 10 minute walk down to the main area of Bhagsu, and just a 25 minute walk to McLeod Ganj. You’re tucked into the forest so you feel very secluded despite being so close to everything. And everyone who works there is incredibly friendly and helpful. The team hosts hikes for a sunset view, and a fire in the common area every night where you have the opportunity to meet other people from the hostel. Our only regret is not being able to stay longer!

Nothing, it was perfect.

I loved everything at Eevolve: room was incredibly comfy and clean, the Cafe served hygienic and tasty food, the staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. All my requests and needs have been responded and handled quickly. The atmosphere at the hostel is immaculate, near an amazing forest, and far from the hustle and bustle of McLeodGanj and a short walk from Dharamkhot center. I wished I could stay more :)

Great quiet location within a short walking distance from the main attractions of MacLeod Ganj and Baghsu. The community of travellers staying at this hotel is really what makes it special and we have made many friends over our 6 night stay.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. There was a nice area outside where everyone would Chat and hang out. They would build a fire, and the food is delicious. The rooms were very clean and simple. You have the fresh mountain air without the busyness of other areas, but it is walkable. You will get a little exercise going up the hill, but it’s not too far and it’s part of the adventure.

I was tossing up for a long time about where to stay in Dharamshala and this is the perfect spot. Tucked away in a little pocket of Lower Dharamkot, all you hear are birds but at the same time it's only a 10 min walk to Upper Dharamkot or Bhagsu and 20 mins to McLeod Ganj which isn't quiet at all. The female dorm is clean with comfy beds, big lockers and 2 toilets for 8 people. The food is great - try the paneer butter masala - and the staff are happy to help with everything. The hostel organised group walks and every night a fire is lit. Many travellers had to move as the hostel was fully booked but still came back to socialise as the vibe was so nice.

The location was great with fabulous views of pine forests all around. The room was aesthetic and comfortable with attention to detail. The bed was comfortable, the duvet warm, hot shower and clean fresh towels. The highlight were the evening bonfires with great conversations with gentle kindred spirits (including the owners, Rashi & Pranav) over piping hot lemon ginger teas!

Nestled in the forrest below Daramkot and above Bagsu, location is great. The rooms are modernized and recently remodeled. If you can get the studio room, go for it! The kitchen and food is top notch and the staff always helpful. The nightly campfire is a bonus. Eevolve seems to operate in an evolved way and modern attitude!

Had a fantastic stay at Eevolve. The property is lovely, located in lower Dharamkot, and surrounded by deodar and Himalayan cherry trees. It is a short,scenic walk from here to the main square of Mcleodganj.  The room was comfortable, the staff very helpful and friendly. The hostel has a nice vibe, breakfast and the evening bonfire is an opportunity for the everyone in the hostel to interact with one another. I also really appreciated their policy of not supplying plastic bottles.  I will definitely be staying here again.

Recently renovated, well maintained property with stellar caretakers and owners. Beautiful friendly dogs. Pranav and Rashi (hosts) were super helpful and wonderful guides with abundant knowledge of the region and its people. Pankaj bhaiyya (cook), Sumitji ( caretaker) were hospitable and stellar people. Super coffee!
