Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

My stay at Hostel Peace and Everest Homestay was amazing! The owner Raghu was so welcoming and made me feel safe as a solo female traveler which is important for me 🙏🏼 Raghu organised pick up and drop offs to my buses and even took me around the city for a day sightseeing at all of the best spots. The rooms and bathrooms were exceptionally clean, good hot showers, amazing chai, and food from the restaurant on the rooftop (amazing sunset view also). I couldn’t have chosen a better place in Jaisalmer! Raghu also organises camel safaris with his family from the village. I went to the desert for one night with the safari team and other guests- Shiva, Martine (safari team) where awesome, made amazing food, laughing, chatting, signing and had a really great time out in the desert (we went to quieter dunes, not the tourist ones). They can also organise longer camel safaris up to 1 month to go deeper into the desert, so I will definitely be coming back.

Wonderful location inside the fort with incredible views both from the rooftop terrace and my room.. I cannot recommend the Desert Safari highly enough - it truly was the most amazing experience - the camel riding was great fun! Helpful and friendly guides, excellent food cooked over an open fire and you can choose where you sleep - (on the sand, or on a cot, with the group or a little bit away if you prefer to enjoy the serenity of the desert and the view of the stars by yourself) There is a campfire, singing and dancing (and even some acrobatics if you're up for it!) The price was also great - fantastic value for money and definitely one of the best experiences I've had in my 2 months in India. Whether you are male or female, solo or in a couple or group this trip will suit you. Food on the rooftop terrace was good quality (and better prices than a lot of similar places in the surrounding area). The included breakfast has several tasty options and is available from 7am - perfect if you have an early bus, or want to head out early for sightseeing. Lastly, I have to recommend Raghuveersingh- one of the nicest guys and best hosts I've encountered on my travels. He picked me up and dropped me off for my buses (free of charge!) which was a great bonus after getting off a long night bus journey. Nothing is too much trouble for him and he is always around if you need anything. (And he's quite funny!) The value for money was incredible - and the rooms, and all other areas, were incredibly clean. Hot water for showers always available (don't forget to flick the boiler switch on a few minutes before you need f you have a private bathroom) The beautiful Jain temple is just a couple of minutes walk away and the Havellis just a few minutes further on foot. I normally don't give such long reviews but I can't say enough good things about this place!!

BrazilEverything was top level
Free upgrade because the hotel was not full. So we were able to enjoy the room with the "balcony" view of the city. Air conditioning. Clean bathroom -Super comfortable bed -Suggest a non-touristic safari with night under the stars (at the same price as other places), we were even able to take a shower in the hotel on our return -Restaurant on the rooftop very good, we were able to prepare the meal with our host, nice experience! Great value for money. The hotel is located in the fort which allows to enjoy its tranquility and has all the amenities. Our room was clean and comfortable and we also enjoyed the rooftop terrace restaurant. The hotel manager also arranged our desert tour which was perfectly within our expectations, authentic and pleasant.

Everything, Great location (within the fort ), clean spacious room , large very comfortable bed , good bathroom facilities, great rooftop terrace , good WIFI . Raghu is a fantastic host , very helpful , nothing is too much trouble. He organised our camel Safari, he gave us various options re activity, duration etc . We chose 1 night non touristic ie sleeping in the dessert under the stars , mattress and big thick blankets provided ( we didn’t feel cold ) .There are no toilet or washing facilities so toilet is behind a bush , we were made aware of this, so we were prepared for what to expect ( don’t let this put you off , it’s definitely worth it for the amazing experience) .Our guides ,Prim, Raghu, and Dushgar took great care of us , ensuring that we were safe , comfortable and happy with the situation. We had a fantastic evening meal,of curried vegetables, rice , roti and pickle all cooked over a fire of twigs .After this we retired to our desert bed . On day 2 a breakfast of porridge, fruits , bread and jam, biscuits and chai was served before we packed up , got on the camels and set off for a visit to a village . We opted for lunch in the dessert which was prepared by Dushgar , again , on a fire of twigs he cooked us vegetables and noodles and roti which we ate in the shade under a large tree . After lunch we packed up again , got on the camels and rode to our second night’s accommodation, which was a luxury tent in the desert. Here we had an amazing tent, clean , comfortable and spacious with all the facilities of a hotel room. Chai and Pakoras were served early evening, followed by an evening of traditional singing and dancing , after this the food buffet was opened, where a delicious, varied selection of dishes were available , there is also a bar serving cold beer, and spirits. This was a great end to a perfect two nights in the desert on our camel safari ,exceptional value for money Thank you Raghu for organising this for us.

It was an excellent stay and i enjoyed it a lot. Ideal location to reside within the fort walls and plan Jaisalmer city visits. The open roof top is picturesque and food is a delicacy. Rooms are hygienic, perfumed and well prepared.Raghu and the staff is warm welcoming and paid attention to guests requests and helpful to cooperate with. I recommend this place as number 1 if you want the best stay at really affordable ,cheap and easy to pay accomodation with all services and facilities provided. Great host. Fantastic communication. Picked us up from the city gate and into the fort. We took the rooms with city views. Which were very special. Good food at the restaurant and generally a relaxed and friendly vibe. We also took the overnight camel tour with our kids 9 and 11. Very fun and a great experience. Overall this was a very special stay that we will always remember. Showers were hot but need to be able to mix hot and cold for better comfort. Rooms could do with a little more dusting.

IndiaAmazing stay, superb location, reasonable price !!!” We stayed there for two nights. It was really a lifetime experience for us to stay inside the fort. The view from the room's balcony was mesmerizing. You can see the whole city from your own balcony. But for that you need to choose the room's with balcony. Other than that, rooms are clean and beautiful as well as the toilets, the owner is a very humble and helpful person. He can arrange your desert safari or camp by himself. I strongly suggest to book your desert safari from the hotel owner Mr. Raghuveer Singh. There are many scammers out there. So booking the desert safari from the hotel will be safe. You can visit the entire fort by walking from your hotel. It will be the 'icing on the top' of your Rajasthan tour. Highly recommended !!!

United KingdomExcellent for little price nice home in side fort nice location For the money - great. We rented for one night. We arrived at five in the morning, the owner checked us in, showed us everything. The room is good, , with a large bed. Quite clean, bed linen too, there is hot water. The restaurant on the roof is good, with normal prices and a great city view. The owner Raghu recommended where to go, what to see and even a camel safari at reasonable prices. After checking out, they left our luggage for free for almost the whole day until the next train. For such money, an excellent option, I recommend. You just don't need to compare such hotels with Hilton and then everything is fine. Thanks Raghu for your hospitality and help. - All good. For such a price - excellent hotel.

SpainMy booking is Hostel Peace and Everest Homestay! I reached the location but I did not find the hotel there. I reached in the morning as I had made a light advance booking and I made the booking after seeing good reviews. All the reviews are fake and the hostel is also fake and not at the location because today the guests have been cheated. This hostel should be removed from booking.com. Please make it fake so that no one else gets cheated.
