Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

Loved the location of the property, like it is very close to the beach. The property is a new one - so it is clean and it is well maintained. The breakfast is basic but it is really yummy and is made by the host themselves. The host/owners are very nice and kind hearted people. There is total privacy and is great for all groups of people. It has all the facilities that you need and is priced nominally. Overall it is a fabulous property and will be my choice of stay, next time i visit Goa.

Best hotel - staff - Internet - comfort - ( owners ) The owner of the hotel MR. Peter and mrs. Peter really takes care of the guests . It was the best experience. Mr.Peter has a restaurant in have been there also you should visit . They provide everything for you if you need guide also ask mr.Peter he is 24/7 available to help you I will never forget the best hospitality from them Thanks MR. And mrs. Peter

A bit difficult to locate initially, but no problem otherwise. It's a 10on 10
Excellent property, walking distance to the beach, absolutely spick and span. Very hygienic. Great breakfast. Very homely hosts and Very safe environment.

Nothing, everything was exceptional.
We loved our time at Fusion Home. Peter, Benni and all the staff were so friendly and helpful. The accommodation is very new and been completed to a high standard. Fantastic powerful shower with hot water and room is large with the addition of a fridge. Breakfast was perfect for our needs. Beach is 10 minutes stroll away, past restaurants and stalls. There is also a hammock and swinging chair in the garden, plus entertained by the cows that sometimes pop their heads in! Peter arranged taxis when required, and also ate at his Fusion restaurant at Vagator (highly recommend the wood fired pizza). We wish them every success with their new homestay as they were excellent and welcoming hosts.

There is nothing we didn’t like.
It has a lovely garden where you can eat breakfast and the room was very comfortable well furnished and spacious. Pete and Beni are lovely people who go out of their way to be helpful and they made our visit a highlight of our trip to India. They made time to talk to us about Goa, food and lots of other things. Fusion restaurant at Vagator is also worth a visit and has a good seating area in nice surroundings. Next time we’re in Goa we will definately stay there again.

Beautiful room. Stunning garden. We just spent hours there. The hosts are amazing. They would be catering to all our needs all the time. They made us feel very homey. The hostess makes the best tea!

I had a fantastic stay at Fusion home. The room was spacious, well-maintained, and beautifully designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort . The amenities provided including high-speed Wi-Fi. The room had a great view of the garden and the air conditioning worked perfectly, making the stay even more pleasant. The staff was courteous and attentive, always ready to assist with any request.
