The property needs a lot of maintenance. The shower was filthy and bathtub was chipped. The water leaked onto the floor out of the tub onto the rest of the bathroom floor. Very unprofessional staff who were shouting amongst themselves and using abusive language outside our room. Also very high price given the hotel needs maintenance and also more staff to run smoothly.

Staff was very pushy in terms of getting tips - demanded to bring our carry ons to room and then forced us to tip them despite the fact we could easily bring to the room alone without their help. Same for bringing us the dinner that was supposed to be included. We felt unwelcomed.

Good location in Colaba, walking distance to Taj Hotel. Safer neighbourhood. Decent room.

Inefficiency of the hotel staff. 30 minutes to scan the passport. Lack of coordination and timeliness in the laundry as well.

Good location with plenty of bars, restaurants and roof top bars. Rooms are quite spacious.

The first room I was given had no fasteners on the windows; the second had water coming through the roof near the lightbulb after a downpour and the third was very nice, although the door often jammed. There was no information available if you were a tourist. Most of the staff were very pleasant, but one of the receptionists was very rude and contradicted what a previous staff member had said.

It was central to sightseeing. The breakfasts next door were good. The last room was very comfortable. Room and laundry service excellent.

The bed linen was a bit old and tatty, but the staff were very willing and prompt to remake our bed with fresh sheets.

This hotel is an old favourite of ours! The locations is excellent, an easy walk to the local sights and Colaba shopping precinct. The staff are most helpful, and the hotel driver did a great job touring us to the Dhobi Ghats and sights.

Sheets used on bed are stained and not clean Staff harass you for tips. They follow you into the room and stay there until you tip them Was ripped off on price. Price online is 78$ a night and we payed $102 The place was not hygienic. Rubbish on the floor, clean towels on the floor, stained sheets

Room reeked of nicotine. Couldn't change it- not good enough. All touch points ie light switches and around door handles filthy. No view.
