Perhaps some of the finishes could be updated / repaired (e.g. repaint over small marks on the wall). The room was clean & homely though!

Absolutely beautiful views! Staff very friendly & helpful - would support with anything needed for the room, and Mary was a great host :) The stay was wonderful from start to finish!

Some door frames are very low. Private bathroom was interpreted to be down the hall and not attached. This was for cheap room. Free breakfast is basic.

I was a bit skeptical about the place when I saw the pictures but I thought I should try it out,when we reached the location it literally blew my mind.The staff were so sweet and the whole place felt like home.The facilities were great but the only con I'd like to point out were the door locks,it was so hard to open and closing it requires full strength,it would make a lot of noise whilst doing it.Overall I'd like to recommend this place to anyone who's searching for a place to stay in Aizawl.

Kindly I suggest the staffs to avoid running washing machines during sleeping hours. 10pm to 8.00 am. Because we travellers are coming from far away places and travelling in hills. If our sleep gets upset our entire travel gets wasted.

The guest house was clean and hospitality was excellent and the pet dog and cats were lovely.

I am waiting for a reply from Booking.com for my e-mails sent to <customer.service@booking.com> . I need a bill from booking.com of Rs. 7257.6 that includes GST for 3 nights stay . Ms. Mary from the property informed me the bill will come from Booking.com . I understand it is said since the room reservation is done through Booking.com which raises taxes over the price value .. In this case I understand Booking.com should provide invoice for the 12% GST (mentioned as VAT by Booking.com) collected of the value Rs. 777.6 to me, the customer of Booking.com . Thank you . Room was not clean, shower didn’t work, TV didn’t work. Depressing breakfast room, not clean either. Staff was slow and not entirely helpful. A lot of noise from the family’s living quarters wall-to-wall (door banging etc)

Not only was the view amazing, but the staff were very friendly and took great care about our trip. They helped us with various arrangements, such as finding the location of the market and restaurants. We will definitely come back to this hotel next time. We couldn't have had a more wonderful time.

Toilet is tiny and has a shower, tried and tried finally felt not working. Had to use a bucket full of hot water to take a bath, I remember doing it 45 years back🤪

What could better the experience? - our intent of booking a home stay was to experience the culture, it will be great if the home stay owners create some slots of interaction with the guests - While the breakfast was as mentioned while booking "Basic", I think it will be great if it goes beyond just bread and omelet. We asked for Jam and the bottle which was given to us was 12 months beyond the expiry date and had fungus!! - I guess a little more guest centric approach will help a lot - homestay is more about feelings and less about transaction.

The location is great. The balconies give a great view of Aizawl city and it's life. The rooms are decently sized and clean. Quick access to city market is an added advantage. It is like 10 min walk down the hill.

Location was very backward. Tourist amanities are not available surrounding the guest house. We had to abide by decission of the owner of guest house, like menu of fooding.

The breakfast, and other food items, oily, could not serve on time. Not spacious room, a bit congested, bathroom was horrible. There was no space to move at all.

Dont like the facilities at all. The staff was nice but there was no professionalism, moreover language is another issue. They are not good at English and Hindi. So, did not meet the expectations.

Being out of the downtown area led to more dependence on taxis. Wonderful views but you have to accept the trade off.
