Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bring your warm clothes. It can get surprisingly chilly by the riverside at night, just in case you plan on spending time under the beautiful night sky.
I'd start with the location. The hostel is built right atop a mound by the riverbank with a stunning view of the forest background. There's an open sky courtyard with fireside convenience and a separate shed for spending the night, complete with audio gear pairing and device charging facilities. The hostel premises are extremely clean and room services are one of the best you'll find in any facility in this region. The manager, Sagar, is one of the friendliest dudes you'll find in your travels. Plus, if you're looking a kickass place to chill out and have some grub, Sagar also runs of the prettiest cafes called Giri's cafe that is about a few hundred meters away from the hostel property. Overall, it's one of the warmest and most fulfilling experiences I've had in my Himachal travels. I keep coming back to this place's hospitality, and the best part is that it won't burn down your wallet either.

Amazing property at an amazing location .Has an amazing view all around and ample amount of space out front and up on the terrace which is an amazing working space with the best view. The room and droms are warm and cozy .And food is very homely and finger licking good .The staff is very warm and welcoming and always ready to help.A perfect spot to spend the perfect Vacation or workstation.❤️❤️❤️

Everything about this property was superb, especially the location. The parallel view of the river flowing is a core memory from my stay here. The rooms were neat and clean and the rooms had a pop of colour which could brighten anyone's day. And sometimes your trip can become all the more memorable when you meet beautiful people, Sagar the host here; was one such encounter. Love how he was so welcoming and so warm. Really helped me figure my way out here, helped me hire a cab at a good rate and places and things to do around. You should also visit his restaurant, Giri's cafe which has an amazing vibe by the night. All and all the best package one could get, for a day or more. Work or no work. Definitely recommend this place!!

Nothing just if i could stay there forever.
The place is just awesome and cannot be explained in words, the property is just sideways to a flowing river with breath taking views and all the facilities and cleanliness. We went there as a group and the place and host ( sagar ) was very welcoming, he helped us in almost everything. A very comfortable and affordable stay i think with a mind blowing view and being riverside just adds everything up. Doesn’t matter you are visiting for vacation or work, solo or as a group There is nothing else you can wish for if you are visiting manali. Definitely recommended do visit once and experience it yourself.

Been to manali several times, but the stay experience i had this time was the best. Everything about the hostel was great. Be it location or comfort or vibes of the place. Would recommend this place to all the backpackers.

The bathroom smells so bad, I don't know where the water comes from, but smells strong. After a long day outside, you wish a warm and good shower, but here, we didn't wish to... we just had to. One more thing about the bathroom was that the door didn't lock. So we had to use the bucket... weird! We asked for a towel and they gave us one which we think was used because was smelling like used and dirty. They said it was wet because of the rain but it really stank. We arrived after check in time and we had to wait because the room wasn't ready. If you don't mind the smell of marihuana, you won't have any problem there. Because one of the person of the staff was there smoking and we could smell from our room.
The staff is very kind Location is perfect, close to the river with an amazing view Beds are comfortable and the room is warm Decoration of the rooms is so nice

I have booked a female dorm for my girl friend but she instead got a mixed dorm. A guy who was not sleeping in the dorm came in at night to drink alcohol which he had hidden in the lockers. Another guy was working and talking in the dorm till 3 am. I do not know if this place is a dorm or an office. It looks like a place for teenagers. There are a bunch of other hostels in the same area with better atmosphere.
The chairs that they have by the river and it is well situated. I claimed the refund and I got it. Thanks to booking.com for organising it.

the room was ok not great. Lot of basic things are missing in room like toiletries, clothes wardrobe and clothes hanger, table and chair etc. No car parking available on the property. Only bike can be parked. Kitchen doesn’t open till 10am which can be difficult for people who wakes up early and need tea and breakfast.
