Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Absolutely loved this place! The staff were friendly and super helpful throughout the entire stay and the rooms were clean. Their rooftop cafe was good. The food was fantastic, plus they had other multiple dining options nearby. Perfect for backpackers, travelers and even work trips. They also offer affordable bike/scooter rentals. Highly recommended! Overall, a great experience. I'm definitely visiting again when I come to Jaipur.

The bed are small, I could not fully extend my legs while sleeping (im 185cm tall). Not much to do around.
The best bathroom I’ve had in a hostel in India so far ! Nearby the railway station

20mins from metro station and 50m from supermarket.Nice and quiet area. The hostel is clean and it has all the comforts for a pleasant stay. Last but not least- hot showers!

Going back from there...
I had a super cool time at Hoztel Jaipur! It's outside of pink city, so less hustle bustle and you can take a tuk tuk for rs 50-80 to reach pink city at any time. Really close to Railway station though. People there are really nice. The dorms are big and have everything you need if you're on a budget, including curtains and hot shower. Balcony - common area is best part—it's comfy and chill. They also plan fun things like quiz, other games and city tours. The staff is friendly and helped me find cool places in Jaipur. I'm definitely going back next time!

There was a lack of social events from the hostel. Other than beer pong on Monday (which we asked for them to organise), there was nothing on to meet people. We felt this was important and lacking...
We stayed in a private dorm (no2) and the bed was very comfortable. Our hot water for our shower didn't work but they sorted it out within the hour. There's a kitchen downstairs where you can order food (you can't make your own). I think this is a drawback as being able to make your own food in a hostel is important. There is a big rooftop upstairs where we played beerpong one night with other travellers which was really fun! Saw two mice running around on the ground floor which wasn't great, but I guess this is India?!

The host and staff are really sweet . Yug, the host is easy to talk to and takes care of everything. They also organised a Diwali Pooja and dinner.The dorms are very clean and tidy. Met some nice people here. I had a really good time.

The bed curtain was a bit broken and it's better a duvet ratter than a blanket
The Staff are really nice! The hostel is located in a quiet area. The rooftop at night with all the lights was a Diwali vibe. They have a fridge with bottles of water and breakfast service. The room was big enough, the mattress very comfy and the toilet was the best so far during my time in India.

One of the Best hoztel in jaipur. The location is fantastic, the staff are awesome, the rooftop and views are beautiful. This hostel has such a great vibe and is very aesthetically pleasing inside and out. Would definitely recommenddd!

Pleasant vibes right from the check in process with Yug, who goes out of his way to ensure you have everything you need. The place has a cosmopolitan feel to it with folks from many countries. The rooms are clean and tidy. The place is surrounded by lots of wonderful eateries and 'all the must' see places in Jaipur at a close distance.

Everything! Perfect location, the room was large, airy and clean. Renovated and modern room which still kept its charm. Hosts were particularly helpful with laundry. Large, clean and comfortable bed. Wish we could have stayed longer!
