Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Check in experience was not as i was expecting . HFirst i arrived early so he said i have to comeback on check in time and at check in time ,he moved me to another hotel as it was overbooked etc . As i was new to the town ,i have to rely on this and jump from here to there . I booked this for 3 days. Then other hotel guy said ,i can accomadate for only 1 day so i have to shift back again. This is not what you expect after booking months in advance. Room are reasonable at price but overall place was not clean. Even at cheap price, keeping it overall clean is needed.

The rooms are very close to each other making it a bit clumsy, but overall perfect for your budget friendly stay. I recommend it for solo travellers, Dashawamedh Ghat and Assi Ghat Famous for Ganga Aarti is walkable through ghats.
This Paying Guest House was really good, ideal for budget in price stay. This is managed by Biswajeet who is very much helpful with all queries, he always looks for his guest's betterment and comfort. The rooms are safe to keep belongings. The area is difficult to find but the owner helps it all. I would recommend keep location as OM Rest House, Pandey Ghat, makes it easier to find which is next building to it - Indra Paying Guest House. Enjoyed my stay Zomato, Swiggy Available

Toilet seat was a bit congested but it is manageable. Cannot expect everything when it's a budget stay.
I stayed here for 3 nights and it is just a minute away from the ghat area & just behind kumoki Guest House. I had booked a single bed room and everything was appreciable. I didn't get the hot water from the second day but I didn't even ask the owner as it was manageable. Dashashwamedh ghat is just less than 5 minutes walking distance. A perfect budget stay for any solo traveller or backpacker.

There was no lift, stairs were quite steep, pain for elderly people. There is no RO water purifier, you will have to buy every drop you drink.
Cleanliness was pleasant, staff called biswajit was helpful & accomodating.

The property is around 1 km inside the narrow meandering streets off the main road. You have to walk with your luggage for around 1 km to get a taxi or Ola Bike.
The best you could get at such a low price. Near to Ghat.

Managing commitee can't help with location.But it is good at this price.
They don't provide breakfast but one can get tea and snacks nearby where this property is located. Property is inside a street where you have to walk a while to get this location. The guy who manage it is very co operative and gentle.

I booked a single room for 6 nights. My room has no windows while the subscription said river view and terrace. I could move to a room with a window but had to pay 1000 rps per night extra.
The location was perfect. Direct behind Pandey Gath in one of the wonderful little streets of Varanasi.

Bed mattress was extremely in bad condition. It was just worn out cheap sponge. My back was literally touching the bed surface. It was a very uncomfortable night.

The guest house is in a perfect location to visit all the ghat and the old town. The room is very simple, a bit old, but it is in line with the price you pay. The guy in charge of the property is super nice and ready to help for any request.

Away from main road. So have to walk to reach the guest house. Need porter assistance if heavy luggage.

There was a terrace with amazing views but it was unusable as it wasn't set up as a space to be. The mattress were very hard, but I think that is standard for India.
I liked the staff the best. They were helpful and went out of their way. They upgraded my room for free with A/C as the weather was soo hot. I like the location as it was quiet, but close to the ghats. A god spot to do some exploring from
