The location was untraceable on Google Map. It is deep inside the serpent type of gallies of Varanasi. Need to walk upto 3 Kms to catch Cabs/taxi. Staff members were kind of attitude oriented. Even public toilets are much better than room toilet. No cleanliness inside the room. Can't order tea before 8:30 am and out side in Galli no tea shop available. Overall very bad experience.

The owner was very helpful. I arrvied in the middle of night; the power was down therefor there was no light on the streets. He came to pick me up on the main street to guide me to the hotel. The locatiion is great with only a minute walking to the Ganga river, restaurants and shops. I would def recommend this place.

To find this place from the main road is a big task. But through the ghat it's easy... Can send some one to bring the client to the hotel. Or proper sign bords are needed for finding the ways and guhts

This hotel is near to all Ghats. The caretaker is a nice guy. Very helpful. Pleasant. The Room were small but enough for a decent stay... Neat and clean.. Hot water, WiFi, blankets, pillows all of those were really neat and clean

Bed in my second room was concrete hard.

Nice location and nice manager, they also had a good rooftop but it could need a couple of chairs. The manager/owner? helped me get transport to airport wich was good because on the street I would probably have gotten ripped off, paid 800 to the airport in taxi wich was ok, about an hour ride.

This is a hard one. Location is superb, 2 minutes walk to Pandey Ghat and river. Decent rooftop with a view of the river. Lots of shops and restaurants in the old town alleys, including some western options (German bakery, Korean/Japanese food too) Owner was always polite and provided what's needed. The single rooms are bare minimum, and I guess considering the low price it makes sense. Showers need some serious work done though, it's not easy to take shower. Since everything is so small and packed, you can hear noises from other rooms, and if someone is smoking in their room smoke may get thru to your room. If you're planning on going around Varanasi for the whole day and just having a bed and shower in the evening before sleep, it's good enough. Would not recommend for people who plan extensive stays at the guest house.

Location is as good as it gets. Right beside the river ganga. Cafes, food, shopping, markets all nearby. Staff is helpful and friendly. He seems to be around 24 seven to assist us in everything. Pricing wise, it's definitely worth every penny of it. Thumbs up to you Indra Guesthouse

We stayed in the standard double room with fan: bed and rooms were clean, it was in a calm area, many restaurants nearby, staff was very nice, good wi-fi and you have a good view over Ganga river when you go up to rooftop. Thank you : ) (n.b.: as most of accommodations near the ghats, taxis and rickshaws can't reach there and then drop you on the main road nearby, you'll then have to walk to your stay through the street maze... but it's really worthy ; ) )

Nothing to nitpick. We got what we paid for.

Location was great - near Pandey ghat, with Ma Ganga visible from the window and terrace. The room had all basic amenities including heater in the washroom. There could have been a small fan in the corner along with a plug point, where the single cot was placed. Viswajeet, the host, was quite helpful. Would suggest that he also get an RO unit installed in house. Overall good experience. Don't mind going back there for future visits.

Room was very small and there is no exhaust fan inside the room as area was full of humidity and no proper window there.

Room owner was very helping , and room is situated near the vishwanath twmple and ghats and food is also available near the hotel
