United KingdomWe had a one night stay and asked twice in advance via booking. com to book a driver for transfer to next hotel but got no response (mail was delivered). On arrival they had no record of this. They did then organise it but price was very high.
They gave us an upgrade to a suite, which was a nice surprise although I am glad we did not pay for this as it was rather drab/spartan and there was no welcome pack (unlike better value Jaypee Vasant suite where we stayed in Delhi last week) Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

NO HEATER. It was winter and cold but whole hotel doesn’t have heating system. Not what i expected from this level of accommodation. Breakfast area was super cold
The proximity from the Taj Mahal makes it convenient to visit the place. Lovely classic rooms and very good restaurant.

Beautiful architecture, great restaurants, and very polite, kind and helpful staff! It was my parents’ 25 wedding anniversary and they helped out by decorating the room and also preparing an eggless cake! Lastly the property is also very dedicated to being eco friendly. Special mention to Ms. Firdaus for managing the room decoration, and to Mr. Vivek and Mr. Mubin in the Pehawari restaurant for a delightful dinner and the beautiful cake.

United Kingdom- Worst Indian food, be aware that the food here isn’t authentic and one should rather eat outside instead of eating their super expensive and tasteless food. - Inexperienced staff specially at the reception resulted in poor communication and service. Delay in receiving the rooms upon Checkin. - Overall felt like an average 3 star hotel, and this property is highly overrated.
