the rooftop terrace was great for meals and the view of the Taj... the staff was friendly. location great. we didn't go around much for food as we were there overnight to visit the Taj early morning. it was a convenient and cheap place to stay. we liked it. safety could be of concern because a strange beggar followed us up to our room door and no staff intervened until i raised my voice!

Breakfast could be better. Paid for the taj room. While the view is good, it's a bit obstructed by bars in front of the window to stop monkeys, which could easily be replaced by glasses. There's also a privacy problem, as they put the rooftop cafe in front of the room, so lots of people can see inside your room until 11 PM. They also leave the music going on until that time.

Very dark room with no natural light and bad lighting. Prices on the rooftop are high so we didn’t eat there (compared to restaurants around).

The view for sure! the rooftop is priceless and I enjoyed spending time there reading, working, or simply admiring the view. Staff was great. Good internet. We slept well as it was very quiet. Appreciated the free chai on the rooftop.

The staff are very helpful , nice location , clean with the cheap price . They have the sunset walk for the Taj Mahal sunset view for free , sounds very lovely (I did not join them).

- the power cut out about 5/6 times a day during my stay (and I was out a lot of the time) - I had a private room on the ground floor (separate building to reception) and the walls were so thin, you could here whenever people walked by the room. The room next door had a Royal Enfield outside his room (in the communal area) and they always started it up inside - Goats chained to the wall in the alley way - not to do with the hostel but they are there and it’s not nice to see, plus they occasionally smell

The view - worth staying here just for that, I could spend hours there. The food was good but over priced compared to everywhere else. Lots of bars and restaurants within 2 minute walk. Roof top is a good place to socialise. So close to the Taj, it’s just a 5 minute walk. Staff were all very friendly and chatty, they helped book my onward train journey. Will be staying at Joeys in Delhi too

Towels can be borrowed, though it doesn't say this on the listing. My bedside lamp was not working. I believe they have an electrician on hand to fix problems usually but I only stayed one night so it was not fixed before I left.

The location is perfect for seeing the Taj Mahal. There was a free walking tour to a nice place to see the sunset, with free chai and coffee offered before. The staff are all friendly with good knowledge of the area. The rooms are nice, equipped with everything you expect from a hostel (TP and toiletries), and the showers are hot. Two great cafes either side of the hostel (Yash Cafe my favourite).
