Not so much for the property, but if you are coming here after visiting the Taj Mahal, just walk to Joey’s, it’s much easier than taking a Tuk Tuk which has to go the long way around.

The property has an amazing location, the staff is helpful and the rooms are clean and spacious. What can I say… highly recommend!

Great value for money. We stayed in their 4-bedroom and it was totally fine for one night. The Taj entrance can be reached in just a few minutes by walking. The rooftop terrace offers amazing views of the Taj Mahal! Incredible for a hostel! The staff is super friendly and helpful, always making sure you feel at home.

The only thing I enjoyed in this hostel was the rooftop. Late at night, two Indians entered the room to sleep without luggage and started to speak very loudly, not caring that people were asleep. In the morning they left early too, sleep with the same clothes. For sure wasn't guest I not feel comfortable... My bus departed late to Varanasi and the locket I were I put my staff for the they is impossible to lock... Is a hostel for one night for the proximity to the taj Mahal and views

Air circulation is not very good.

The rooftop cafe is very good. One can also book other services such as private car from the receipt.

Check in was painfully slow. I arrived after midnight after a very long and challenging day's travel, and also feeling unwell. That it took almost half an hour to check me in was not appreciated at all.

Great location, and loved the views across the rooftops to the Taj Mahal. Hippie Cafe serves excellent food in a cool location. Room was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable.

Breakfast was 45 minutes after the time advertised which was disappointing as we were waiting awhile. Sometimes loud outside the room in common area but only in the day.

Nice view from rooftop. Nice breakfast for only 200. Nice room with bottled water included. Easy check in & check out. Nice lockers to leave luggage after check out. Amazing location, can’t get much closer to Taj Mahal, less than 5 minute walk to entrance. Nice to stay with our tourists and it felt safe

It's a bit noisy in the rooms because windows to the main hall are very thin. But it's India so it's always noisy...

Amazing location just a few minutes by walk away from Taj Mahal. The views from the rooftop are amazing, and it's nice to have the option to eat there at any time of the day. Food may not be stellar but the view and quiet atmosphere compensates for it. Staff is very nice.

Electric shut down in a very long times.

The day we stay was unlucky, the electrical shut down , we had done everything in the darkness until check out early morning, anywhere we can early check in before 12.00.It is good.

The whole building is quite old and all facilities were a little rundown, but worked fine for a night.

The location is unbeatable, very short walk to the east gate and the view from the rooftop cafe is just stunning! We really appreciated the evening walk with the staff to see the Taj Mahal at sunset.

Two suggestions for improvement 1. have better light blocking drapes. The bunk beds in our bedroom were along the window facing a street and the kinds barely slept the first night because of the street lightning. 2. improve the drainage system. On our second day there we had a very bad sewage smell in our bathroom. even if the team came to do something about it it came back.

The location was perfect - only a few steps from the entrance to the Taj Mahal, the staff great, and the view from the rooftop terrace amazing! The team was very easy to communicate with and they were very welcoming. We appreciated a lot them taking time with people around a bonfire on the rooftop terrace. The offering from the rooftop cafe was good too!

But unfortunately, they seems shut down the electricity in the early morning when I try to get up early for sunrise to Taj Mahal. They send a person to me and said it will be back in 10 mins, but eventually, 40 mins later there's still no electricity. I can only do my saree and make up rely on my phone flash light.

Location is awesome, staff are friendly. Room is not the best of course, but you can live with it for one night to see Taj Mahal.
