Staff gave wrong advice about finding a tour guide for the Taj. I asked how do you know they are official and they said anyone in the complex with a badge. We nearly got ripped off asked for 3000 rupes when official ones are 500.

I liked the layout of the hostel and the roof terrace with the view of the Taj Mahal. The free chai was delicious. Our room was comfortable and the shower hot.

The only thing I would mention is not a criticism but information for other travellers. Some reviews mention that beer is served in the rooftop cafe but it is in fact not.

The rooms are tired and the ones nearest the road are pretty noisy when the traffic starts up outside at around 5am.

The proximity to the Taj Mahal was fantastic and it was reasonably priced. It felt like a more authentic experience than staying in one of the bigger hotels further out.

There was no beer or cocktails on the rooftop but it is quite obvious; there was no window in our double room (actually there was one but it was facing the corridor and it was tapping all the time when people were closing doors in different side of the corridor)

Hot shower did not work any of the days/nights, bed lamps did not work, bed electric outlets did not work. Lack of maintencance, but the staff was very nice and helpful. Expected working facilities aot shower from the good rating, please fix it guys!

Noisy room. Need to mind your head with some very low door openings.

Very close to the taj. Good to get there before sunrise by foot (without extra transport time). Very friendly staff that could support with travel tips and bookings. Big family room. Some free bottles of mineral water on the room. Nice roof top restaurant. Free evening tour with some info about the taj.

Aside from the view and location, it's an average hostel and we wouldn't choose to stay more than one night. It's not the cleanest or most comfortable place you'll stay and we had bed bugs which made for an itchy and uncomfortable few days!

Amazing rooftop view of the Taj Mahal and perfect location for visiting, just a two minute walk away from the east gate entrance. We also enjoyed the hostel breakfast buffet which was varied and filling.

Common areas were not the cleanest but it didn’t bother us as we wanted to be close to the Taj, the local area is a bit rundown but we felt safe despite.

AC didn’t get super cold. It wasn’t a problem for us but may be a problem if visiting during the hotter months.

Location is great; about a 5 minute walk from the east gate of the Taj Mahal. Staff were super friendly and helpful. If you book breakfast a day before, there is a 50 rupee discount. Breakfast was unlimited. We didn’t use it but laundry is available for a price and there are luggage lockers for after check out.

Our room was without window, dark, humid and it stinked a bit, though it was clean.

The fact you have a large window giving you the Taj view also means there's a large window for anyone to peep inside your room, given it faces a hallway. Curtains could be a little better to prevent that, we never felt like we had full privacy even in our bed, which was in front of such windows.

We stayed at the Taj view suites. Considering the price we paid, I think this place is hard to beat. The view is obstructed by a fence and there's a restaurant in front of the room, but still. You're waking up to a view of one of the seven wonders of the modern world for under $30 for 2. The restaurant was good, but it wasn't great. They do serve Kingfisher beer for a reasonable price, so I very much appreciated that. Location is a 3 minute walk from Taj East Gate, so that's also unbeatable.

Joey's is a great place to stay in Agra. I chose their dorm facility which was great. You can have an excellent Taj view from the terrace restaurant which made my trip so memorable 👍🏽The food too is really good.

This could not be a better location for amazing views of the Taj Mahal, and only a short walk to the entrance. There’s a nice rooftop cafe and a common area.

Private room is really small and there was like a musty smell. Bed was ok. Shower was funtional. Overall did it not feel super clean but it was acceptabel.

Location is amazing, very very close to Taj Mahal! The rooftop bar/cafe was actually better than expected. Good food, nice ambiance and good views. Location was above average quiet for Indian standards. Real hostel-vibes.

staffs were friendly. the foods were also good but found it a little expensive. hostel rooms are really cute🙂. Taj was at walking distance. I really enjoyed my 1st solo trip stay. overall hospitality was Osm. 😁

The toilette is not the best but ok.

I really liked the rooftop and the position, really next taj mahal. For a small extra price you can get a really good breakfast too. The room is ok and very good for the price.
