Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Italythe tour guide overcharged us. We started the tour paying 100 rupis and ended up asking us additional 850 rupis because he said the dinner was expensive! No way that was the cost of what we did with 8 more people sharing everything plus using hola which is so cheap! Plus asked them to help me booking the bus to Jaipur and charged me 100rupis commission for that saying that everyone does it! I’m traveling from 2 weeks now and all the hostels never asked me any additional cost!
close to the metro and you can meet a lots of traveler

Czech RepublicThe place can get quite full when there are lot of people. I was confused who is actually working there and who is a guest with many people running around. People leave their luggage around the room(not the fault of the hostel). Receptionist could tell me that there is another floor with common room and rooftop so I would know that. I found out randomly. They can improve the sign on the street, it can be tricky to find it. There is security guy who will open the doors for you, but when he is not there/hiding from the sun, the sign is hard to see among the thousands of others signs on the busy street. Someone took my water bottles from the fridge, I believe that staff lol.
The staff is quite friendly and makes the stay nice. They are doing city tours that can be quite helpful for people who just arrived to India and do not how to move around yet etc. The showers and toilets were quite nice. There is a small kitchen, free drinking water and other drinks for sell. Rooftop for hanging out with friends/new friends you just met there. Lot of street food around. Close access to metro/subway. The lockers(take your lock).

Philippinesi feel like it’s not as clean as I thought. it’s acceptable though. i’ve seen worse Indian Hostel in other cities.
i really like the location of the property. it’s near the metro so it’s very convenient. the curtain was a great addition. i didn’t feel like I’m in a 14 bed dorm because the Curtain gave me that privacy.

SpainThe rooftop is nice. However, it was very messy most of the time. The stairs also weren't kept very clean. I stayed on the female dorm and the space is not as private as the mix dorm as there is no curtains and the bunks are a bit unstable, if someone gets into the bunk you can feel that everything is moving.
The staff and their tours to know places in Delhi are great. The common areas are ok to hang out with other guests. Breakfast for just 100rupees is ok, you can choose from cereals, toast with peanut butter, jam or butter, boiled eggs, bananas, instant coffee, milk and tea. I did one of their tours and I really enjoyed it. I paid 100rupees plus expenses (shared transport, street food and tickets), very recommended.

Brilliant staff, super clean bathrooms, comfortable beds with curtain / plug / light, fan for the room so didn't get too hot, balcony attached to the room, tours organised each day that you can get involved in, just generally a good vibe among travellers - most of who are foreign.

IndiaNarrow steps, 1st floor, bit difficult with luggage. Dorm type. Privacy, lighting, sound.. Could be a concern, though they suggest a silent hours from 11 pm - 8 am. If you prefer single individual room then avoid. Restroom clean but not equipped with toiletries.. You're on your own.
Hassle free checkin. No extra amount asked. If you have ever booked in oyo property, you know how valuable this is :). Friendly vibe. Luggage storage facility. Community - group talk of diverse ppl if you like it. Location is walking distance from Laxmi nagar Metro.
