The place was really good and clean, the staff and host was really helpful and kind, they even arranged packed breakfast at 5am for us. Only negative is that the place is on a steep uphill and is not accessible by tempo van. It is impossible for elderly to walk up. We had to get auto to go up to the lobby and down. The hotel staff is really helpful, they offered to send us by scooty. During our checkout, the owner offered to send us down with our luggages by their car which was really really helpful!

There is no card accepted. So it was a bit of a surprise when you travel. To be fair, it appears to be island-wide thing. You just have to carry wads of cash. International travellers don't have easy access to GPay as it is no instant... so there are some challenges in the payment options. No big deal, just an inconvenience when you are paying for 4+ rooms, you need a pile of cash.

The staff and people were good. They don't speak or understand English so it was a challenge. But luckily I had people who spoke Hindi and they hit it off immediately. Super close to the airport. Beware of taxis at the airport, they charge you Rs 300 for a 5 minute ride. But the roads are pretty steep otherwise you could literally cross the road from the airport and walk to Kanchan's nest.

The room was at 4th floor, lot of stairs to take. The bed in the room is only twin size, a king sized bed would have been better for family of 3. Though a mattress was offered by caretaker.

Very close to airport, clean simple property, staff is very helpful. Nice place to stay in Port Blair. I would recommend it to anyone. Room was quite spacious as well.

Exhaust fans in the toilet

The location is on hill top so many taxi drivers do not wish to climb the steep slope. Otherwise, rooms were clean, facilities are as promised, but the caretaker and helper and super helpful and supportive. Thanks to them, we could manage when our son was sick. Recommend if you don't mind the steep slope to the property. Very helpful people.

The only issue was that someone constantly kept switching off the lights and fan of the common space despite knowing that we are in the room, and seeing that we had a few clothes drying under. It would have been good to just communicate to us to switch off when not needed. There is a kitchen but I didn't see any utensils.

The location is unbeatable, you can just literally walk into the airport in five minutes. The homestay is neat and comfortable, and the care taker was responsive and helpful. Clean bathroom with toiletries, cupboards in room, bed was comfortable, shared space had comfortable sofa and chairs.

Location good walking distance from port blair airport but the homestay is at very high point, senior persons face very difficulty to climb and there is no generator its ruuning on inverter so dont expect AC , if there is no current so AC will not run and this hpmestay should accomodate some soft drinks and water on their own. Slippers were not provided in any of the rooms. Although, kettle was there in kitchen, other items to make tea ourselves was not available. It's well known that most of the guests in Andamans come here as tourists and they have to leave the room early in the morning to visit Baratang, Rangat or Diglipur. Sometimes, ferry schedule is like that. Tour operators, drivers, state buses match that specific schedule. But we were not provided our breakfasts when we left early in the morning. This shouldn't have happened. Being a homestay, it doesn't have any full fledge restaurant, so you can order meals to caretaker by 5pm or you can search some restaurant for your dinner or you can order food through online options. This homestay is situated on a hill top. So if may be difficult to come here on foot. Even auto rickshaw cannot go such inclination.

We booked two bedroom apartment with hall and kitchen. Rooms were of standard size but without any windows although there were two windows in the hall and one in the kitchen. Obviously, kitchen was useless. Beds in both the rooms were standard size double bed. Bathroom in both the rooms were equipped with water heaters. Staff is very co-operative and friendly. They did their best to make us comfortable during our stay. This property is surrounded by lush green trees.
