The staff at this hostel is wonderful. They will take you for nice hikes and cook you some great food. They make the place feel cohesive, bringing together all the guests at the hostel.

The charging points could have been more evenly distributed with respect to the beds in the dormitory - one bed had two ports while two beds had none - it becomes difficult to recharge gadgets. Also, playing loud music should be prohibited after a certain point at night. Some of the visitors play loud music at night and it becomes difficult for others like me to absorb the serenity of the night.

Excellent location, away from the hustle and bustle of the main road. The food was amazing, the staff were courteous. Good facilities as compared to the altitude, and the remoteness of the place. The common room was cozy and warm, and have some excellent collections of books!

The hosts, Arpit and Poorva are really engaging with the guests and they maintain the good vibes at the place. Good for families as well as travellers. The food, the view and the people are amazing. A perfect place for a work-ation!

We had a wonderful stay at Lap stays ! The owners are really friendly and fun! The puppies here will just make your stay more cheerful! Also the views from the rooms are heavenly 🙂!

Unfortunately, there was no heater for our room (we were informed that after March they don't use heaters), and it wouldn't have been a huge deal, but my wife and I work remotely on US hours, which is in the middle of the night when it gets really cold. We hand to bundle up in all our layers just to stay warm. During the day it was ok, but we ended up having to to cut our stay short because of the cold (originally planned for a week but left after four days).

First off, the location is amazing. The view of the surrounding mountains was incredible. Secondly, the hosts went above and beyond, and we felt so welcome. It was my wife's and my first anniversary and the staff surprised us and celebrated with us. The room service was good, too, and they had fresh water for us to fill up our water bottles. The common room was great for sitting and reading, and I enjoyed the book selection.

The location was just perfect! Loved the view. I'm a solo traveller, met quite a few good people during my 2 days of stay! Arpit and Thomas were always available on the property to attend to everyone's needs! Extremely polite and friendly! Overall, had a really good experience and i definitely recommend this place! ❤️

Parking and stay were far off looks like the locals don't like the hospitality set ups around Chitkul.. Most of them didn't like tourists on my first impression.. May be because tourists have meddled with locals lifestyle
