Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe room was adequate (we had a basic room), it needed a bit of an update, especially the flooring.
The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and functional and there was air conditioning and a fan. the hotel is in a good location in Haus Kaz village. The staff were helpful and the café on the ground floor served good food all through the day and evening.

United KingdomOnly thing that was a bit of an issue was the water outside of the front of the property which made for slippery steps!

FranceThe Minimalist One was a welcome oasis of calm within the glorious chaos of Delhi! Nayeem and the team were very welcoming and very helpful. Hauz Khas was a hip neighborhood from which to explore the city. All in all a great stay!

IndiaThe staff was not at the reception when I arrived and took a long time to show up for check-in.
The location was good though a bit inside and the taxi was hesitating to go. The room was large but a bit cold.

Sri LankaThe location can be a bit noisy. The breakfast could be improved a bit, like providing a bit of yoghurt and pickle.
The location is excellent and with a "green view." Comfy rooms and well laid out. Coffee is good at the cafe. Staff are friendly and helpful.

United StatesA bit hard to find from GPS. Ubers and cars cannot pass through the gate so it a a few minute walk to get a taxi.
Very great cafe downstairs with good coffee and food. Cute, artistic, and tourist friendly space. Close proximity to a lovely park.

United KingdomUnfortunately, like the other reviews suggest, the place is very expensive for what you get. It’s still nice but it is extremely well photographed and perhaps not quite what you imagine. Bit of a smell of damp in the room.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The cafe on the ground floor was nice. Hauz Khas generally was a great area to stay in Delhi with lots of good restaurants and easy to get to the centre by tuktuk.

GermanyToo expensive for what it is. The place is aesthetically appealing and the view from the roof top is wonderful. Cleaning could be improved (hairs in the shower, cat poo on the balcony). The rooftop room is not in a perfect shape: the kitchen has two plates, one mug, two glasses, two little bowls, one pan. No pot to cook, the fridge seems broken, the water kettle does not stop automatically. I didn’t try the cooking plate. The bathroom has a hole in the wall from the doorknob. It was pretty cold in the room (because the AC is broken), but they immediately provided me with a portable heater after I asked. You can lock the room from the inside, but there is no safe. One thing I wish I had known before: cabs, uber and autorickshaw cannot reach the hotel. They need to stop at the barrier on the entrance of Hauz Khas village and then it is a 5–8 min walk. The metro station IIT is in walkable distance (20 min) through the deer park which is very pretty (I wouldn’t go when it is dark.) One last thing: the wifi connection is terrible for skype calls.

MyanmarWas a bit too cold in winter temperatures (both air temp and water), but staff did their best to make up for it.
Rooms are trendy and spacious. The high-ceilings and tiled floors would be excellent in Delhi's hot summer; but make for a cold combination in winter! Staff were aware of shortcomings and very accomodating (helping with shuttles, heaters, extra blankets and even room upgrades). Cafe downstairs is cool!

IndiaThe bed was not so good and the mattress was barely 6 feet. There is no elevator but the staff helped us carry our luggage to the room which was on the third floor. Biggest downside was the noise from the neighborhood. Another issue is the barricade at hauz khas village which restricts outside vehicles from entering the village where the hotel is located (however, a hotel vehicle dropped us at the barricade after check-out which was helpful).
Location is excellent, inside hauz khas village and close to the airport. The room was nice and clean. Breakfast was decent. Unique experience if you are familiar with hauz khas village and want to stay inside the village.

MauritiusThe rooms looked quite older than expected. One of the windows was broken and did not fully close. Since the bed was near the window, it was quite cold at night. Also, in the shower, after a while, we would start getting cold water instead of hot. The hotel is quite in a corner and taxis might not agree to go there.
Food was decent. Cute cafe. Staff was helpful. There are quite a range of restaurants nearby.
