Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyStaff was exceptional with attention to detail. It's a shame I only got to stay 1 night here because of my flight next day, but nevertheless the team made me feel comfortable. They packed a small breakfast for me because I was leaving early in the morning. Thanks!

United KingdomThe shower leaked into the rest of the bathroom, not ideal but manageable and the room had a damp feel to it- had to leave the bathroom fan on and ceiling fan on the whole time. Nothing too bad but expected a little more for the price.
Staff were very friendly and the room was really spacious and clean. The breakfast was really nice as well.

United KingdomVery noisy! I don’t know if it was just because we were on the first floor and so could hear everything from outside, but the doors banging were also very loud so was hard to get a good night’s sleep.
Clean, stylish, very friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere and everything we needed in the room. The location was very good.

United StatesThe room is a bit dirty if you look closely. Also make sure you’re aware that cars can’t drive to the property, so best to arrange somebody to meet you at Hauz Khas parking to help with luggage.
Great cafe and really nice people at Cafe Fika! It was nice traveling alone here, I made friends with the staff pretty quickly :) Really fun location and felt safe walking around alone.

NepalWe were charged for bedsheet stain caused by mensuration. That was fine, but I think these things should be considered. As the guy first asked 1200 and then went down to 875,which we paid. But I still think that bedsheets wouldn't be trashed, but after washing it is clean. But I guess that is the policy of the hostel. This happened at the minimalist side of the poshtel. Something to think about for the Poshtel team.
The staff were informative and supportive. They also helped us change the room as our initial booked room had a moldy smell. So they helped us change to the bunk bed quadruple room. The staff at the breakfast counter was super nice and kind . Rooms have clean towels, shampoo, body wash and cream. It's located in Haus Khaz village so it's easier to get around town only downside is the car won't go all the way in,so you kinda have to drag your luggage all the way through the area.

IndiaThe location was not accessible by car, even autos were not willing/ allowed to enter the lanes, therefore, it was a struggle lugging around big suitcases. We had asked for a room cleaning and were instructed to leave our keys at the reception for it, which we did, but came back to an uncleaned room in the evening. We were given fresh towels at night. We did not receive any assistance during checkout with our luggage (we were two floors up, no elevator). Despite it being a cafe the coffee was not great.
The room and common areas were clean and maintained. Breakfast was basic but tasty, breakfast service was prompt.

South AfricaThere is not really anything I didn't like. It was just tiring climbing all those steps as there is no elevator😊 But it kept us fit I suppose. Great place for younger travellers, I can see older travellers getting annoyed with climbing steps.
We loved Amit, he made us feel welcome from the get go. The kids really loved this hotel because they were entertained the whole time. Great vibes all round. Such a beautiful, clean set up and the food is great.

SloveniaThe entry to the hostel is pretty obscure and a bit difficult to find in the narrow street, which got filled with water, so also access to it was a bit difficult for a few hours. If the room window rollups are lifted, unfortunately the windows are without proper outside views of the park, concealing the garbage in the park surrounding the hostel, however green tree tops can be seen for a more pleasant atmosphere in the room.
The staff was welcoming and made an effort to accomodate us fast after an exhaustive travel with our child, the common area is nice and the facilities are well designed and arranged, even though the prices of the room and food are pretty high compared to other facilities offered in Delhi, or if trying to match European standards. Luckily we were placed in a 1st floor room not too affected by the heavy rainfall on the day, also the openair hallway was quickly restored to its original position...

SpainOverpriced for what it was. We got the junior suite. Someone had clearly broken into the room earlier and they hadn't fixed the door so with a little push the door could be broken and opened again. The windows were broken and/or filthy and/or useless. One woman from the staff called and woke us up (!) to ask if we wanted to order food (????). Laundry was for the wealthy (price per item, extremely expensive) so we had to find another place.
