Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews

A perfect place to stay in Mandrem, a few minutes away from the beach. The room and the balcony are big enough, the staff is nice. The value for money is great!

Nitpicky details like adding a few extra hooks on the wall for towels and a drying rack (although there's a short washing line) would be handy.
The excellent value for money: stepping into the room feels like it's new—clean, with a comfortable bed, and no signs of wear or aging. Additionally, it’s rare to find rooms in India with a balcony where you can relax on comfy furniture or even work from as wifi coverage is good (excluding ambient noises, as you can hear traffic from the adjacent street and music from nearby restaurants and venues, but that’s to be expected in Goa). Just a few hundred meters from Mandrem Beach, with plenty of restaurants nearby, and several yoga schools within walking distance. As a nomad, I instantly felt at home in this accommodation—it perfectly captures what I seek while traveling.

Nothing major.
Spacious room and bath, huge balcony, top quality interior, king size bed, clean bed linen. Mr Cyril and his team are excellent hosts. This place is within 5 minutes walking distance to the picturesque Mandrem beach. There are good restaurants, shops and super markets nearby. Beach is less crowded, clean and safe.

Busy area but very central, perfect location but noisy

I have been to Goa 3 times and stayed at the little nest all the times. Cyril uncle is a great host and his family is also very welcoming . Ganesh bhaiya is a great help as well. The location is right near mandrem beach and rooms are quite comfortable and very clean.

We really loved this place! The room is big and super clean, our room had a really huge terrace which was great. Wifi in the room is strong and fast. The room had really everything we needed. Hot shower, airconditioning (we didn't use because it was not necessary in November). We stayed here 1 week. The owner and staff are friendly and helpful. The location is awesome. We choosed for Mandrem because it's more quiet than Arambol, but only a short scooter ride away. In the street of this hotel are some good restaurants and some supermarkets. We stayed in North-Goa before but we never had such a good hotel. Price-quality is really good. When we come back to Goa we definitely will stay here again.

I was not able to locate the dustbin. I had to leave early in the morning so I asked same to the person who is there at night. He told me that you can leave room as per your wish just leave room open. So I did the same then the guy calling me that one pillow is missing from the room. Also the website is showing the charges as 1800 and they asked me to pay 1800+ 215 = 2015. It has to be more indicative on website itself. How much I have to pay at check-in or checkout, what soo ever.
