No mosquito treatment

Good food at the restaurant. Spacious rooms and clean rooms. Biggest negative is that it is not treated for mosquitos. So the full family was itching the full time. Location is close to all landmarks.

Had a massage through the hotel. Paid for 1 hour and the guy only massaged for 45 min. He refused to continue for the 15 min that I had already paid for, saying that his massages always go between 45min to 1 hour and that he had given me really good massage and pretty much that I should be gratefully. Long story short. Don’t book a massage through them!

at arrival, the sheets were very dirty. we went to the reception and they immediately changed the sheets for us so that was a nice save. the hotel reception can call taxi’s for all the trips you want to take. however, these taxi rides are definitely a lot more expensive than an uber would be. Feels like they overcharge a lot for their taxi’s.

swimming pool very large so that was good! there is also a spaceous restaurant and even roomservice available. Food at the restaurant was okay for dinner. the breakfast buffet was very nice with lots of indian choices, as well as toast and even eggs that they prepare on the spot. rooms are large and comfortable. inside and outside the room is space to sit and relax.

We felt uncomfortable when some guests were drinking and taking loudly though they were not trouble or bother. Kids and women in the family were not happy about that. It should have been separately allocated for those who drink would be much appreciated

There was a maintenance activity going on during our stay which started early in the morning and continued until late evening. It made us feel really uncomfortable and sleepless during the day time as we were ill. Otherwise things were fine.

Guests were allowed into the pool with their normal clothes, without even wearing a swim cap. They were also served food and drinks while they were still inside the pool. This is unhygienic, especially in the time of corona fear. My opinion is the hotel should not allow this.

It fairly met all my expectations. The room was big, so was the bathroom and bed was comfortable. Wifi was fast and the location is super central, and just a few min walk to the beach. The swimming pool was the real winner, the ambience is green and pleasing to the eye and the water was friendly, you can spend hours in it. Food was also good.

Worst experience ever in my travel history. The bathrooms are horrible. This hotel needs lot of repair work. AC is not working properly. We had booked with 2 adults but requested extra beds. The rooms are not spacious but bathroom is bigger size with low quality cleaning.

The location is perfect - in the centre of town and within walking distance of all the monuments. The entrance from the road is a bit scruffy but once inside the grounds you are in a peaceful oasis away from the hustle and bustle of the town with a delightful swimming pool around which to spend the hottest part of the day. The food is delicious and the staff go out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. This is not a swish, modern hotel but if you like traditional places with lots of atmosphere and good, old-fashioned values you will not find better in Mamallapuram. Highly recommended.
