The duvet that we were provided with was quite thick, with the result that it was quite hot and sweaty. Didn't have a good night's sleep.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The location is on old port road and it became Pitch dark outside in the evening as if u are in some godforsaken remote place. The surrounding buildings are dumb looking and old structures and can put you off .
Resturant inside was good and breakfast was sumptuous.

I wanted laundry service. Not provided. Usually, hotels of your grade provide laundry within 5-7 hrs. But your staff refused to do so.
Serving me take away breakfast at 5: 30 AM. Fantastic.

It's surprising that this is being touted as a Taj property! The hotel is NO value for money. Starting from the reception until the rooms, the place is highly average. The rooms are small and not impressive at all. The restaurant is forever crowded and the breakfast spread is one of the worst we have experienced in any hotel. The pool is so small and in such a dingy area that it's smaller than a building backyard. I can't believe that we paid 11k for one night in such a terrible place. It's not Vivanta, it's not Taj. It's an apology in the name of these properties.

They must complete modifications work and cannot keep customers inside. Need to request to stop the work. How come TAJ doing this type of service. Rates are nit acceptable after bearing all nuisances.
Property looks okay and major problem is construction nuisance and too noisy impossible to stay inside the room.

Lots of renovation. only rooms restaurant and the bar is operational.
We were told that there was renovation work happening and the pool wasn’t functioning. post I reached there I realised that the entire lobby, cafe, pool was under renovation. the entry to the rooms was through a small opening leading to the rooms. My twin boys are suffering from dust allergies. So I spoke to the team at Taj. Mr Peter the GM was very prompt in arranging a different room plus gave us an upgrade. Only regret is that my kids couldn’t use any facilities.

my room number was 224 mosquitoes in the room had to ask for mosquito repellent no slippers were provided no shaving kit TV sky channel we’re not working there was a bug in the cupboard which never user it after that bedside sockets not compatible for apple users Resturant walls has a dampness unused linen. Sauce bottles are just laying packed drinking water was not provided at breakfast table on my last day of breakfast normal water was just poured which I didn’t have. reception area needs some upgrade. pedestal fan I think is not the right thing which we see when we enter the hotel which has a Taj branding though it’s a gateway rooms are not noise Proof. we can hear trolley noise if housekeeping staff ever time housekeeping staff playing loud YouTube Videos in next room. could hear , I think staff is from Maharashtra. he was enjoying Raj Thackeray spearhead in Lou me speak issue in mumbai and his surroundings
property is centrally located , I was allotted 224 room number , breakfast was okay , not as great.
