Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaThe maintenance and cleanliness of the property wasn't good. The surrounding area was quite dirty. Breakfast options were very average and you had to go to another building for it. Taxi' s n autos don't come down the lane as it is very narrow. Problem if carrying heavy stuff
The room was a very good size. Many restaurants nearby. It had everything they said it would have.

SwedenSome misunderstanding regarding the airport transfer.
Great place in Hauz Khas, a little bit beyond the most active (and nicest area). Very comfortable with a nice café attached.

United KingdomLovely location and staff were nice. Breakfast was good too as was the room service. Only issue is, take the pictures with a large pinch of nimbu salt. It's like someone on a dating app using filters Vs real life. Major issue was the King Room pictures had a bed and instead we just had a mattress on the floor. This is very poor of a hotel and to be honest, a disgrace. Otherwise, stay was ok.

DenmarkThere was no hoy water in one of the rooms. The location was a bit remote and not easy to access for cars.
Breakfast was good, I would recommend going to the Minimalist hotel not the hostel.

IndiaThere will always be some areas of improvement, but nothing especially to point it out.
The new concept has some comfort levels. It gives you relative privacy in the dorm concept. Beds are comfy, and sheets are crisp and clean.

IndiaThe hotel is not value for money, cost me almost INR 5000 on a weekday, it could’ve easily been 3000. Not easily accessible by car as it’s in a narrow lane in hauz khaas. View from balcony overlooks a field full of trash and the shower was blocked needs maintainence.
The room was very spacious and well kept. Staff was poilte

United StatesThe room was always cold because it's bigger with more space than the small rooms but also the heater that is inside the room is small and only effective if you lay near it. The heater is too small to heat up the room, the floors are cold too so wear the room slippers provided. Given we stayed during winter (jan) so it's going to be colder than usual and that I understand. The hot water didn't last long.
We booked a small bunk bed style to save money, upon arrival the kind and courteous general manager upgraded us to a King size room. Very kind of him! The food is excellent with many options on the menu. There are many healthy choices, too. The downside is that it's very expensive, unfortunately. But if you can afford it then it's worth the money spent as well, they provide room service so you don't have to leave the comfort of your room especially since it's cold outside. Comfortable beds. Great location.

South AfricaThe communal bathroom could have been cleaner. I would also prefer an actual door on the pods rather than a curtain, especially as it is a shared male/female spot.
I like the concept of a sleeping pod, especially if you only plan to stay for a layover. The reception staff were very helpful and polite. The pod was clean and had good lighting/charging ports. The location is quite a vibey spot near many cafes and restaurants.

United KingdomAs a solo female traveller the door lock wasn’t very secure and would have easily been able to be kicked open so I jammed the chair under the door handle. I came home from a night out and was asked by a group of 5 men at the entrance to verify what room I was in. I refused to tell them, I don’t know if any of them actually worked there, but it added to the feeling of being unsafe. Was also in a room by the lift shaft so could hear that all night. En-suite was a rusty wet room where once used for a shower there was a swimming pool of water on the floors.
Nice design, fun location. Near bars.

HungaryIt’s not what it looks on the pics, everything is much more rundown, outdated. The place would need a refurbish for sure. I didn’t have hot water in the shower. There’s a mosque super nearby so there will be loud prayers going on during the day.
It’s cool for a short stay. Room service was great and they do have a good variety of dishes, both European and Asian. There’s tons of space in the private room, felt comfortable with all my stuff. The location is great there’s tons of shops around. Staff is helpful.

IndiaI stayed in a capsule, but the AC does not work, so you have to make do with the fan that is in your capsule. Also some people were loudly speaking and playing music, which is prohibited yet not supervised by the staff. Also, there is just one wash room if you are staying in capsule. I paid a higher amount for this service
Staff is helpful and kind. They have a small cafe outside where you can sit and chill. And the best part is that it is located in Hauz Khas market. Crowd was decent in August.

NetherlandsThe place could really do with a whole uplift. The ceilings had mould growing and the bathroom floor gets flooded. The building looks like it's about to fall off and rooms are not sound proof. There is not bottled water available after the first day so one has to go downstairs and get it refilled. Mind that this place is different from the Minimalist Poshtel. The only Cafe Fika is a stones throw away but breakfast and coffee is very expensive.
The staff are really good and helpful. The place was clean and location is also good. It's inside a gully but the road leading to it is like Khao San Road in Bangkok. A lot of pubs and cafes and night life is very lively and safe. A lot of foreigners as well and tourists backpackers in the area.
