Mold on the Walls, Insects inside the room and the staff was having loud arguments at night with a friend of them or so who was drunk at 01 AM. I could understand it because I speak Hindi and it was definitely someone they knew. Definitely was Not feeling safe there at night.

The care taker guy was deceitful to some extent. Initially on the day of check in, I asked for some water and he straight away denied saying we don't have water. Secondly he did not believe I paid the half amount as advance. He made multiple calls to some guy conforming that I actually paid while I already showed him the online receipt. On the day of the check out, he asked me when I would leave. I said at around 11 am. He said we do check outs by 10 am. I showed him the policy of booking.com that clearly states the check out time is 11-11:30 am, to which he said we are private property and do not follow rules of booking.com We have our own rules. Irony is inside the room there was a board of rules, even in that the check out time is 11 am. I stayed till 11 am when my can arrived, and I left. But the lie n hassle was not worth it. What was the guy thinking? I heard so many good things about Mitra Hostel but such behaviour is not understood. If you can't abide by booking.com rules, take your property off of that website then. Stop fooling people n lying to them buddy. Your aim should be to take care of customer's needs, not cause unnecessary problems.

Location is good. Nice market nearby. Beach is 5-6 min walk. Bed provided was comfortable. No noise

1. It was no where mentioned while booking whether it was AC or non AC. But they told it is non AC. and the mistake lies that booking.com side also. I don't how you guys not even mentioned that. 2. It was mentioned that lockers were provided. And the rule is we should bring our own lock. I think it a new rule from. 3. Colourful water 😂😂

Dirty and untidy hostel, very small rooms. Chill are also quite dirty.

Good location, the building is in the yard, it is quite a quiet place. Pleasant staff

The room was small. Lighting was not good at all. Attached washroom was much smaller and not in perfectly hygenic condition.

We liked the location of the property. The common area had a good vibe, good sitting area. The place is also budget-friendly.

We waited a while when we were checking in. There was also powercut issue due to heavy rain in the night.

The hostel is walkable distance from beach. One of the most beautiful beach i have seen. The host was really cooperative and helpful. One who wants to come for workation or for more days, it is a good place. And they have kept it clean.

This is the worst hostel experience I ever had … Not recommend to anybody, rooms are small, untidy, dirty, ants everywhere, spider nets under the bed, no water in washroom, after reaching there figured why they have no room pictures online , only common area pictures are shown. We booked for two days but any how spent one night there.

We were made to wait for around 2 hours as somebody else had occupied our dorm beds. Also, the rooms were not in a great condition. The washroom was a major disappointment as it was not clean at all.

The host was very friendly and the vibe was pretty great.

place is very good and vibe keeps the place alive ! I almost people go here on the name of the Host that is Deepak. He is the most amazing man I met while my travel. He is not a host but a person who will stay awake to listen to you, and create the best memory

the bed allotted was wrong and I had to sleep outside in one for the first night. hygiene was zero, staff incharge misbehaved when requested for lower bed and intensional Harassment giving ridiculous reason of Christmas Rush/ season..

Room is very small to accomodate 6 people and I got the upper bunk, it's very difficult to climb up and down as the steps lader is not user friendly, and there was no proper ventilation in the room.

I found the bathrooms in bad conditions, sometimes the light or the toilets didn't work. There were a lot of spider webs and it wasn't very clean. There's also pretty loud music during most of the day in the communal space which was a bit too much sometimes for me. I also found overpriced but I was there during Christmas so I guess that's normal. The dorm I stayed at was also pretty cramped. The room was made for two bunk beds but they put three. Sometimes the ac stopped working for days and it got crazy hot in the room

It was super easy to meet people so the vibe was good and they had food service during the day. The manager is also a nice guy and tries to help everyone

Really not sure how the place had such a high rating. Dirty rooms and broken things in the bathroom. Zero safety with our things. No locks for the doors, no lockers. Anyone can come and go as they please. The staff were all so stoned and slow. Wasn’t sure of our check out dates. The girl in my room kept yelling and switching off the AC in the middle of the night. Will never go near that place again.
