Loud even after lights out hour. not a lot of toilets and not very clean. The female dormitory has its own toilet but people from outside enter leaving no privacy.

Highly disappointed...the front desk person was rude.dont get fooled by the photos. He was not even ready to consider me and thinking about to fill the bed with other customer instead of i hv booked the same in prior. I got the upper site of the bed..while climbing it was too shaky. I asked him for mattress to put on floor...so it will be more easier for me but there was no response. not even a single fan in the room and ac also works in the night only..the whole evening ac was off.there was one small table fan on the bed wall...that means if u want ventilation u have to climb n switch on the same. I asked him for lower site..as he said tomorrow morning it will be available...he wasn't even bother to inform the same. The drawers are without lock n key.that means if u hv to carry the same for ur own belongings. As there wasn't refund policy for cancellation..I paid whole amount...but I didn't even stayed there..n unfortunately I looked for some other hotel nearby.

They do not mention that they have non ac hours for their AC dorms. Their in house pantry is unhygienic and too costly. Even the rooms smelled weird, and bedsheets were not changed between guests. I would try some other place on my next visit.

The cafeteria is quite expensive and its on terrace so very hot during summers. There’s 2 common washroom for entire floor. Approx 30 people use those washrooms and at times it was not much clean either

Guess what, I found a mouth piece on my bed the first time I laid on my top bunk bed. There were also some used table napkins so I wonder if my bed was really clean. During my first day, the attached toilet was really dirty. But greatly improved the day after it was cleaned by the staff. Wifi here needs to be improved. Add more routers to the 2nd floor as it does not work well inside the dorm room and the balcony common area.

Bed was comfortable but it was not clean. Location is very good as it is near restaurants and Assi Ghat.

Laundry and wire common area.

I had problem with laundary. I expected to have service at the site. It was very inconvenient. The common area is very hot to sit. Kitchen needs lot of cleaning. I felt I comfortable ordering g food. Staff is very polite and friendly. They charged me $200 for early checking just for waiting in the common area in a very hot and humid conditions.

We reserved a room for 4 people (only) to be alone, but when we arrived very late at night and after waiting for the check in, we discoverd our room was already full of people and the bathroom was outsite, and it was not what we payed for, so we had to leave even if we weren't sure about finding something else.

a girl in our dorm got sexually harassed by another guest. this guest was not kicked out until 10 of us guests had to tell the staff again and again. it was horrible to see how normalized sexual harassment is. also the music on the terrace was way too loud, from early in the morning

the roof terrace is very chill, the food is delicious and the hostel staff gave good recommendations for things to do in Varanasi

They have only 2 toilets for almost 20 people , wifi was not up to mark ,and on the first floor they dont have cold water service ,the guest were specially indian were so annyoing they on off light in midnight , talk loudly on phone entire day

That the person sitting on the desk was a Lil arrogant. Not much but just a little. Also, a few days later someone easily got the access to their register of stay and found out my contact details and also my ID number. isn't this a breach of privacy? Shouldn't the people out there be a little more careful and shouldn't give any XYZ the access of their register?

There was no curtain on the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep inthe night, cz it was a shared room, and people kept switching on the lights (which is normal, ofc, a cutain would have made it comfortable). We did ask the reception staff to provide a curtain, but they couldn't arrange it. Hoping for a better stay, next time! I have always stayed in moustache, in almost all your properties. I thought sharing an honest review might help to improve the services.

It's expensive for a hostel. Secondly, the receptionist's sleeping arrangement is out in the open cold. Rather jarring! With such a big hostel, surely he can be given a bed indoors.
