We had such a wonderful stay with Sheela and her husband! Their home was absolutely charming – peaceful, cosy and just a short 15-minute drive from the airport. The room was very comfortable, with both air conditioning and a fan, plus a lovely ensuite bathroom. Sheela was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, she offered a pick up from the airport and dropped us off to a tuk tuk stand, offering great suggestions for things to do and even helping us book train tickets when we had trouble online – that was such a relief! We also thoroughly enjoyed Sheela’s amazing breakfasts, especially the flavourful potato stew and the freshly made chapatis – simply delicious!

Comfortable room in a beautiful house. Gracious hosts ( Sheela and Kannan). Loved their hospitality. Mr. Kannan took me to various places around Trivandrum and Kanyakumari. Very reasonable cost of staying. And delicious south indian breakfast. Thanks to the host and my comfortable stay, I am in love with Kerala and the Keralites.

This homestay was beautifully designed and made us feel like we were living in the jungle with all the plants. Our hosts were extremely friendly and had breakfast with us everyday. They told us all about local spots and Indian culture. It was a little out of the city which was great, giving us peaceful and quiet evenings listening to the sounds of nature.

The bathroom shower was a bit dirty but nothing major.

We were welcomed with open arms which was great. The location is a bit south of Trivandrum city but don't let that put you off - a Tuk Tuk on uber is about 100-300 rupees depending on time of day and extremely easy. The bed was extremely comfortable, the AC and ceiling fan were great and the breakfast provided was delicious. Our host was extremely helpful and eager to support us in any way he could. A great Homestay.

The bathroom is in the closet and it smells a Little, it’s a bit too humid in there. You can’t open the windows cause of mosquitos

Very beautiful house where you can relax from the city, with rikshaw it’s not far to Trivandrum, the host organizes everything. He was very nice and even drove me and waited two hours at the airport with me in the middle of the night to pick up my partner. Be aware there‘s no shop or restaurant in walking distance, you‘re in the jungle. But you get nice traditional breakfast.

Hosts are really great, they treat you like a family member. One can really get lost into the authentic taste of Kerala food made by Sheela aunty. It was an amazing experience and we'll definitely visit again when in the city.

Nothing much! Its a bit of travel from the airport but worth it, if you are looking for a peaceful and clean stay.

Brilliant hospitality and homestay! I needed some guidance to get to the spot, but the entire stay was wonderful once I got there. Nice, clean, and spacious rooms. Very peaceful location with the river right behind. The room had a large balcony facing the river. Best part was that Aunty made me an appam for dinner and a tasty breakfast in the morning. Felt quite homely. Uncle dropped me to the airport at the end. The entire thing worked well for me. Hopefully, I could have got there earlier and stayed longer.

I had a very brief visit at Nirvana Home stay as my flight was delayed by 2hrs the home owners Sheela aunty and Kanan Uncle were the kindest they waited for me till 1am at night and made sure I had a comfortable stay. The property was beautiful well designed and every corner was utilised well. I can totally understand why it's a featured house by multiple magazines. But keeping the marvelous house aside I want everyone to visit for the wonderful hospitality by the couple. If you inform prior uncle also helps in traveling around Trivandrum if required

Very aesthetically pleasing home with warm hospitable people. There is only a single entrance to the home, the rooms do not have separate entrances. The host was gracious enough to offer is breakfast for free displaying stellar standards of warm Indian hospitality. Additionally it took us almost midnight to reach the property, but the checkin was seamless given that it's a homestay. This property is the definition of a proper Indian homestay.
