The owner who is not only nice and super helpful but also make us feel like at home. The house has only 4 rooms which is good for us since it will be quiet. The house is super clean and nicely decorated. The room itself is also extremely clean , the bed is comfy, and has all basic amenities you need. Location is wonderful, 5m walking to the old centers and abundant restaurants. Definitely will be back and book this place in the future.

The hot water in the shower doesn’t last for long, but it seems to be like this in most home stays in India

The location is excellent, right on the lake and in the middle of Udaipur: all the main sights are in walking distance. We stayed in the Green room which has a nice balcony over the lake. The hosts are very nice and offered tea and biscuits on arrival, gave advice on local sightseeing and the home cooked breakfast is also very nice!

Jitu and Lovely were great hosts, I can’t recommend them enough. The breakfast was really good and plentiful. The location is great. The view from the room was fantastic. Nice and quiet at night, we slept well. Really enjoyed our stay.

Everything about the stay was exceptional. The hosts were extremely welcoming and took care of each of our requests. They served us home-cooked food for breakfast which was extremely delicious. The room was really clean and all amenities were spot on.

The location is very perfect everything was just nicely walk. Warm welcome by host on arrival time host are very kind and helpful. Every morning Home made breakfast with Continental and india, i suggested go for both you love it. Room was very comfortable & wonderful everything well occupied in the room. At this place we sleep comfortably in india so far. We can say best stay in India. Also staff is very friendly every time with good smile Highly recommend and we loved our stay.

Not much, everything was great. If I had to knit pick I would say that the seal around the shower needs to work as the water runs all over the floor outside the shower when using. Very minor issue as everything else was outstanding.

We were greeted to this fabulous location with a great reception by the owners. The owner Lovely produced an all you can eat breakfast every morning that was delicious in every aspect. You had the choice of North American or Indian style breakfast. We had the Indian. Lovely checked on what level of spice we would like and it was made to perfection. The beds were very comfortable and the view of the lake was exquisite. Most major attractions and restaurants were in very close proximity to the Oolala. Lovely gave us a very good overview of what attractions to see and what to avoid. Manish, the house concierge was there to handle every chore with a smile. Overall, a wonderful place to stay and enjoy.

Location of this pretty bad and breakfast is unbeatable: 10 min walk from City Palace, very calm, with the most amazing, absolutely unobstructed view from the room to the lake. Our room and bathroom were spacious, meticulously clean and pretty. Lovely & Jitu are very smily, accommodating and helpful hosts. Lovely’s breakfast include both light version of traditional Indian food (very mildly spicy if at all) as well as its “continental” alternative for home-sick Europeans.

Didn't help a lot with taxi to go to Ranakpur: I had to remind them even though I've written in advance and talked about it the day before, and price.proposed through travel agency was very high (in 30mins of research I got 40% less..) Price is expensive but all Udaipur is more expensive than rest of Rajasthan I recommend the staff to add electronic heater in winter

We enjoyed the location, the pretty room, but first of all the warm and professional hospitality. The owners gave us good and detailed indications about what we could visit and where we can eat. They pamper us. Indian breakfast suggested.

Lovely and Jitu were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Lovely also gave us some fabulous suggestions for places to visit, as well as restaurant recommendations too. Manish, their caretaker was lovely and always available if we needed anything. The Indian breakfasts were amazing, delicious and very filling. The best breakfasts we had on our trip to India! The rooftop had amazing views of the lake and was great to enjoy some sunshine.

Spent a beautiful New Years in Udaipur at Oolala. The hosts Jitu and Lovely are exceptional, they go above and beyond for the guests to feel at home. Loved the blue room with views of the lake but the best part was the terrace with a wonderful view of the city, best place to get your drink of choice and feel the vibe of Udaipur(fire works was the icing). Yummy local breakfast and the Gulab Jamun made by Jitu’s mom was divine ! Great location to access the old town and city palace on foot. Get the real feel of living in Udaipur. Highly recommended.

We were there in 31/12 (peak holiday season)and the traffic was horrendous. This is not reflective of the accomodation at all. We had to take a tuk tuk to get close to the location. A staff member met us at the street to guide us to the location. The stairs are quite steep.

The hostess offered cooked Indian breakfast. We asked for toast and eggs as we had to leave early in the morning. They were so accomodating with our request for early breakfast. When we checked in tgr hostess gave us a brief rubdown of the attractions. At the rooftop you can try nice view of the lake.

Nothing at all. Just keep in mind you may have to walk a bit from the parking spot. But be assured that hosts will make sure they attend you there and you don't have to search for the place.

An amazing stay at the lake front. Hosts Jitu and Lovely are such wonderful people. Supported by the ever helpful Manish. They go above and beyond to make your stay absolutely fantastic. The breakfast is amazing, the room is well maintained, the views of the lake freshen up your mind. After a few days of staying at hotels, we felt at home when we visited here to finish our trip. What a lovely stay! Would recommend to anyone planning to do a homestay at a nice walkable location from all Udaipur spots. So professional yet so welcoming, caring and provide such personal touch on everything.

Bathroom is tight and tricky- but for the price this is quite acceptable

Great location- wonderful hosts who went out of their way to assist. The breakfasts are excellent and keep you charged throughout the day. The bedroom waterfront view is special, and drifting off to sleep with the sounds of Udaipur most relaxing.
