The location was lovely but the key to enjoying it was Suhail who was excellent. Apart from being an impeccable host he's a terrific travel agent and went on to book our fairly extensive travels through India. He made excellent choices of hotels and was on the end of the phone for pretty much anything. I would recommend him very highly.

Maybe better for short one-night stays than for longer stays (Internet is rather slow, food nothing special, no place to store your stuff).

We had an amazing time staying here. The houseboat is in a great location with a beautiful view. The food was delicious. Unis, the host was incredibly friendly and helpful. We travelled around the north of India for two weeks and Kashmir ended up being our favorite place. We're hoping to come back, and when we do we'll definitely be staying here again.

Overall houseboat was very good. Well maintained. Staff was polite, cooperative and well behaving. Breakfast and Dinner was very good. Breakfast - Fruits (Watermelon), poha, boiled eggs, Dalia, corn flakes, chocos, aloo poori Or chole bhature, milk and tea separate, etc. Dinner - Veg soup, roti, paneer sabji, chowmein/dal/bhindi sabji, chicken (spicy 🌶), halwa Or kheer, etc. Service was very good, rooms are big enough, washrooms were clean, overall houseboat is clean & maintained. Rooms have TV, large Window, hot water kettle, tea coffee milk pouches, enough switch points, dressing table, almirah, table chair, fan mirrors, slippers,towels, etc. We enjoyed our stay there.. Recommended.

1. Call from the boat house within minutes of booking. 2. Hospitality of Suhail and Yousuf. 3. Multiple shikara trips on demand. 4. Location - similar to a corner house - providing excellent night view and morning view of the boat houses. 5. Room (be ready to compromise a little on the speed of the lavatory jet pipe - this is a limitation of the infra - lack of height, and not of the service) 6. Relationship of the caretaker Mr. Kurshid, with the shikara drivers, who were always willing to oblige him. 7. Allowed early check-in.

Pasadona Houseboat...words fail to express the beauty of the place. It's the house boat with mesmerising views. Least to say, it's serene and beautiful. Whoever said ' if there is a heaven in earth, it's here - Kashmir' is one hundred percent true to every word. Now I ask myself why I waited this long to visit Jannat-e-Kashmir. Suhail bhai's hospitality was good. If you are reading this review, dont wait too long to make a booking. For me it has been a experience that will stay with me.

we would stayed in the boat for our entire trip. The boat it breathtakingly beautiful with carved walnut panels and carpets all around , the common area is spacious and very comfortably furnished. We were given 2 rooms both the rooms very comfortably furnished with Double poster beds an ornate desk with lamp and everything else one would expect in a Heritage property. The bathrooms ( which were a major concern) are furnished with the most modern fittings availble in the market. The food too was quiet good and my parents liked the fact that they could Phulkas here. All in all one of the best places to stay in Srinagar and quiet an experience. I hope to come back soon. PS they also have a Shikara boat 🚢 for pick and drop at all times.

The experience was excellent servicing was amazing the room was clean very comfortable i highly recommend to people to visit here and the food was just like home we stay 3 nights in this beautiful houseboat and the view was just too beautiful from the houseboat all over the experience was just too good.Excellent & courteous people to deal with. King-size wooden beds & linen are provided. Rooms are cozy & bathrooms are super clean. They have excellent cooks & supporting staff. Regards Ana

The warm welcome by Mr.Suhail & Wasim and their great hospitality makes my stay even more comfortable. And not to forget about the peaceful environment this houseboat has to offer at Dal Lake. Additionally, I am a pure vegetarian, hence finding homely pure veg food is a task in Srinagar for me in the last 4 days ...but here at houseboat, I got amazing food to eat. People reading this comment, must try their Kehwa ☕ Indeed, it is worth staying here and value for money overall. This house boat is just like a memorable place for us. The staff are very cooperative and cordial. The food was also as per our expectations. The services are also excellent. During our stay in Feb 2023 weather was very good. We had left one bluetooth ear bud there in the room, but they returned it to us with a good note.

Travelled to Kashmir India 🇮🇳with my family of 6 (including 2 senior citizens and an infant). Great arrangements right from hotel selection to suggestions for itenary to pick up/drop off arrangements. Definitely recommended.
