Since Pine Brooke was full i got a room in Grand Heritage Resort ( same owner ) The Room was cozy, and clean Amirbhai was very friendly and accomodation Property also serves delicious snacks and food Very nice and friebdly staff too Located near the River Great Value for money

This was my first time at a homestay, and I have come back with a very good experience, and a much higher urge to stay at a homestay again! I stayed at Pine Brook Pahalgam for 1 day, and it was a wonderful experience.

The shower is a bucket and the water is only hot some of the time. No toilet roll provided and we only got breakfast on one out of the two days we stayed. The bathroom window has no glass so I can imagine it being very cold in winter.

It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Good location just a few mins walk from many restaurants. Owner was friendly.

Location was close to the Lidder river bank (2 min by walk), it was little away from the main city center but that is what we wanted - away from the hustle and bustle. The pictures of the room were like the actual. The access to the hotel is bit interior (most budget places would be like that) but that is how many hotels are in Pahalgam. Breakfast is basic but with a 5 mins walk there are places to eat breakfast/lunch/ dinner. The manager and the entire staff were superb and took care of our family - they also arranged for our local sightseeing in Pahalgam at the Union rates (with no additional charges). We had dinner at the hotel on the night of arrival as we got late - the hotel prepared the same, which was very nice of them.

1. We weren't provided breakfast on the day we checked out. The reason told to us was that the staff sleeps late at night so providing breakfast at 6:30 am won't be possible. Although, we believe that in hotel industry the staff must make arrangements according for the guests who have early check outs (specially when it is mentioned in the package). 2. Time and again there wasn't any water in washrooms of either of the rooms and we had to report it again and again to the staff. 3.

The stay was affordable and included a free breakfast, but it’s important to manage expectations regarding facilities, as they do not compare to those of a 3-5 star hotel. A notable concern was the privacy issue in the washroom, coupled with the lack of a geyser or hot water in my room. Given the cold climate of Pahalgam, 24x7 hot water is essential, and the alternative arrangement to fetch hot water from another room was hindered by a power outage, resulting in an uncomfortably cold shower.

During my solo stay at Pahalgam in May 2024, I found the property to be well-located with the added convenience of parking, which comfortably accommodated my Scorpio N. However, potential guests should note that parking is limited to two cars and the access involves narrow pathways, requiring confident driving skills. The place exudes a homely atmosphere, more akin to a home stay than a hotel, which I found quite charming. The staff were the epitome of politeness, contributing positively to the overall experience. For meals, quick options like Maggi are readily available, and with a special request, the staff may prepare additional food, though it’s best to confirm with the property first.

Cold, small, simple rooms. Facilities are cheap, beds are not comfortable, bathroom looks not clean, which make you feel not comfortable to use. Hot water for shower only after 7pm. If you're lucky, some hot water is left until morning. No heater, no electrical blankets, the only thing keeps you warm is hot water bag, they will give you if you feel cold to put in your blanket.

Price is cheap, helpful staff. Wifi remains even during electricity cut.
