We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

GermanyThe worst for the start: directly behind the yard is a "slum garbage dump" where most days people lay fire to the garbage, which results in long smoldering fires and toxic fumes leeching into the rooms. You can't close the bathroom window because it's a hole in the wall. Without the AC running all the time cleaning the air, it's impossible to stay in the rooms. The hotel isn't really a hotel at all. It's a number of rooms in a backyard building. I didn't have my room cleaned, but the passing cleaners rang the doorbell anyway to bump me up for extra money, and I refused to pay for obvious reasons. It's at the border of town, in case you want to see and do things in town you will spend a lot of time and money on transportation.
The rooms, interior and equipment are new. The staff is more or less the young manager, but he is really eager and motivated to help the guests to have a good stay.

RussiaOur train got several hours late and arrived at 1 am. I contacted the hotel to warn about that, and they told us to look for another accomodation because it's late. Could have just left the key instructions or at least say sorry... We had to look for another place in the middle of the night.
