Highly recommend. This hotel has style. The decor and furnishings are excellent. Bathroom is superb. Large shower cubicle with modern shower unit. Brass fittings. As I have said Style. Bedroom very comfortably with ample supply of water, tea/coffee . Comfortably bed. Reception extremely helpful and friendly. Restaurant very good. At breakfast ( Buffet style) didn't want me to wait by the toaster brought it to my table. Even pored my coffee for me. To sum up excellent service and value for money. Give it a try. Close to the beach therefore quiet compared to staying in town. Tuk tuks waiting outside although centre in walking distance.

It was am exceptional stay. If I were to nitpick, I would say that some items in the breakfast, like poori was not warm.

We took the family room. The room were very pleasant and spacious. Even after an additional bed, there was enough space.The bathrooms were very neat. Good Furniture and ambience. Though close to road, we were not too disturbed. Very close to the beach.

The lift too small for guests and concierge personnel. Would have loved a little more space to jog… not an issue considering the nearby beach to chill!

One of the staff at the restaurant was a bit rude to us when we asked them to provide hot water in a small flask - she said we don’t provide it for our customers which felt odd, but gladly another staff ( she was very kind) made it up for us!

Property was within 2km from the city which made it convenient to reach. We loved that everything was kept clean and fresh in the hotel rooms. My in laws loved the complimentary breakfast, again, everything was clean and the food was exceptional!

The Prasanthi is best place for locality and ambience. However, there are some drawback where I have observed from them. Hotel fare is really high where hotel owner can be considered. Breakfast food items are limited. Most of the tourists/ customers doesn’t have own transport and they are dependent only autos and I am afraid there is no private cabs facilities like Ola or Uber in Kollam. Hence, management can arrange their own transportation which would be added advantage to the customers/ tourist people.

Prasanthi hotel is best option to stay. The staff members are very kind, polite and friendly to the customers and especially office manager Vishnu who is very helpful and friendly to the customers. The hotel is nearby (500 meters walkable) to beach and 2 kms away from Kollam railway station. The hotel maintenance is really awesome. Besides, food is also good.

The rooms were great and the staff was courteous and helpful always. The location is prime and it is a great place to stay if you are travelling with family. Special thanks to Mr. Vishnu for being so helpful with everything.

We absolutely loved it here. The rooms are well appointed and beautifully decorated. The AC was quiet, the water was hot and the bed was comfortable with very clean sheets. The planting around the hotel is also really thoughtful so your short walk to breakfast is lined with fresh blooms and well maintained greenery despite being so close to a road. There are a few other restaurants and a supermarket nearby too, we wish we’d had more time here as it was a great location

Check-in a bit haphazard; no WiFi code given and no information about menu/room service. Upon calling the restaurant for room service I was told that I couldn’t order food from there and to call what turned out to be housekeeping! I called reception and eventually managed to order food but not ideal.

We had a room facing the road which was very noisy, however we were moved to a lovely quiet room for our second night.

Restaurant has only vegetarian options and breakfast buffet had limited items. There is some noise for rooms facing the road but not bad as it's not too busy.

Neat, spacious rooms in contemporary style and modern bathroom with premium fittings. Though ita directly on the road, it feels tucked away and private. Beach is within 5 minute walk and there are few restaurants outside this hotel.

1 bottle of mineral water per day for 2 persons is not sufficient. All hotels provide 2 bottles.

Very good location, close to Kollam beach and Thangassery light house. Staff very courteous, helping. Rooms were big enough, neat and clean.

Always a green flag, clean rooms with necessary amenities. Friendly and very helpful staff. A good combination of traditional and modern design. Located very close to the beach and a noise free location. Eclectic spread of vegetarian options for breakfast. Overall, it's a good place for both solo travelers and families. Must try.

Unfortunately no extra facilities available besides the room. Can’t fit legs underneath the desk with the chair as it’s too high so a little uncomfortable to work.

The hotel is built to exceptional standards and offers luxury accommodation at a very reasonable price. Kollam isn’t really on the tourist trail apart for its own backwaters that rival Alleppey so most people who stay at the hotel are Indian tourists or businessmen but I was treated with courtesy and respect, the food offered was excellent and the staff helpful
