Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Wow! This place is the very best place to stay in Marari beach. It’s so relaxing and beautiful. The rooms all have an outdoor space to chill. The air conditioning works perfectly. The food is absolutely delicious with our vegetarian needs met without issue. A variety of dishes served all locally sourced and cooked to perfection. Allwyn and jancy make you feel welcome and appreciated. The whole experience is tropical, refreshing and something you never get in a resort. The pool is a dream after the heat of the day. Come and stay it will be the best place you’ve experienced in Kerala.

United KingdomA larger "Dreamz" sign at the front would be useful - it's easy to miss it. However, once you find it and go into the property you will not be disappointed.
A small boutique hotel in a tranquil setting. The rooms are very large and spacious with very effective A/C. Our room also had a big open terrace area with table, chairs, settee and hammock! The shared pool is large and in a beautiful setting with trees and flowers providing a relaxing environment to chill out/read. Allwyn, his family and team could not do enough to help out, their local knowledge is outstanding and they all went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. The bikes were a bonus and enabled us to explore the hinterland which is so beautiful. The early morning fish market is a must see event, a very authentic and real experience of every day life and work. The beach is only a 5 min walk away and is impressive and largely unoccupied. Allwyn sent a good information pack to us before we arrived and a great set of recipes after our stay. The breakfasts were fabulous and varied each day, a brilliant start to the day.

AustraliaWe loved everything.
This property had the balance of a welcoming home stay and a boutique private resort. It’s in a quiet location. We took advantage of the bicycles to visit the beach and market. We stayed in the Cashew Villa with private pool. The pool was a retreat from the heat during the day. The bed was comfortable. The open air shower a real treat. Dinner was amazing. We will be recommending this property to family and friends.

United KingdomThe property is absolutely perfect and such a wonderful setup with your own private pool and room. The room is large and very clean with a lovely outdoor shower. The family and staff are so lovely and helpful with anything that you need. The food cooked each night was absolutely delicious and such a feast - you definitely won’t go hungry! The location is close to the beach and there are free bicycles that you can use to get around. We hired motorcycles to go slightly further afield and explore the other beach areas which I would highly recommend. We could not fault our stay and would highly recommend!

United KingdomWhile we loved the imaginative design aesthetic of the semi-outdoors bathrooms, dressed in trailing vines and lush foliage, like showering in a secret forest idyll under a starry sky, it might feel too close to nature for some.
The owners and their team were very welcoming and made every effort to make our stay one to remember. We loved the delicious big breakfasts, as well as the ambience and the design of the place, with its beautiful greenery, outdoor swimming pools, good natured pets, and close proximity to the beach. We were a multi-generational party and there was something for each of us to enjoy. While we came at the end of the season, it provided the perfect location to relax and unwind, set in a laid back village with friendly locals who seem to have embraced the developing tourism to the area. We certainly wouldn't hesitate to return given the chance, and to recommend it heartily to our friends and others looking for an escape from the more frenetic tourist traps.

I have spent 10 blissful days at Marari Dreamz where I relaxed at my wonderful private villa with my own swimming pool… Allwyn and Jence were the perfect hosts, always available to recommend excursions, practical tips etc. I was spoiled every evening with Jence ´s wonderful south Indian food for dinners and my breakfasts were equally delicious and copious! This place is full of charms, peaceful and both Allwyn and Jence add joy to this special place. I highly recommended Marari Dreamz to anybody who is looking for somewhere to stay near Marari Beach

The whole homestay is exceptional. We stayed in a double room with rooftop patio - it was perfect. The pool is cool and the best was to relax after a day out exploring. Allwyn is the perfect host who ensure you have the best experience possible - nothing is too much trouble. Jency his wife is kind, calm and gentle who is possibly the best cook ever! We had all our evening meals at the homestay - there is no where better to eat FACT! The rest of the staff are a true credit and work hard to make everything just right.
