The room was not as big as shown in the photos. I would suggest, turn the AC on an hour before the guest checks in to the tree house, it was like a microwave when we checked in.

The breakfast was nice; however, I would suggest you have some instant coffee around. The coffee was not nice at all. The staff were very courteous and accommodating.

    Nothing

A really unique jungle experience staying in a ‘treehouse’ just on the edge of the wildlife reserves. My room was large, clean with a great balcony which overlooked the palm trees of the resort and great for monkey and bird watching! Pugmarks even had its own watchtower which was so peaceful to sit in the morning and watch the wildlife come to life. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful taking me on a bike ride, organising tuktuks and taxis and making sure I was properly fed - the food was absolutely amazing and really generous portions. Thank you Gopa, Shinoj and the rest of the Pugmarks team for making my stay so special.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful resort surrounded by lush greenery and tranquil nature. The warm hospitality of the staff made the experience even more memorable. The resort’s amenities are very good - swimming pool, spacious rooms and nice vegetarian food too. We even upgraded our stay to the Tree house for one night and it was a mind blowing experience. With Jacuzi and great views amidst nature, this is one of a kind. The Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary and Kuruvadeep are quite nearby and had a great time there. We even had a great luck in spotting a Tiger @ Nagarhole wildlife reserve when passing out. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway amidst nature!

By Indian standards, it was a rather expensive resort where expectations were not met in some spots.

Remote location in the middle of the jungle. Super nature all around. Beautifully maintained pool. Very nice staff. Super tasty food cooked fresh every day. Dedicated chef. The boat trip on the local river was also very impressive. The tree house is beautifully furnished and in a fantastic romantic location surrounded by greenery. You have absolute peace and quiet. Only the sounds of the jungle can be heard.

I had the most incredible stay at Pugmarks Jungle Lodge in Wayanad, and it was truly a highlight of my travel experiences. Surrounded by the beauty of nature. The accommodations were charming and comfortable, perfectly blending rustic charm with modern amenities. I stayed in the newly built tree house, which offered stunning views of the surrounding forest. What made our stay truly exceptional was the owner Mr.Gopa Varma, who went out of his way to ensure we had an unforgettable experience. He personally took us on a night safari and a morning walk, sharing his deep knowledge and passion for the local wildlife and environment. During the walk, I was lucky enough to spot wild elephants—a moment that I will cherish forever! His enthusiasm and dedication to providing a meaningful experience were truly inspiring. The activities at the lodge are perfect for both adventure seekers and nature lovers. From thrilling wildlife safaris to peaceful nature walks, every activity is curated to connect you with the stunning wilderness of Wayanad. The food was another highlight—homemade, delicious, and tailored to different tastes. The warm hospitality, combined with the unique opportunity to explore nature up close, makes Pugmarks Jungle Lodge a must-visit destination. If you’re looking for a place where adventure meets tranquility and where the hosts treat you like family, this is it. I can’t wait to return and relive these amazing moments.

The Cedar suite is completely of wood so there were few wood bugs here and there.

The location was very calm and peaceful. Swimming pool was fantastic. It was very clean and neat. We enjoyed a lot in the pool. Rooms were neat and clean. The Cedar suite had a fireplace which was a warm and comfortable experience. Dinner and breakfast was decent. The staffs and the owner Mr. Verma was super nice and the morning walk with him was refreshing. Overall it was a wonderful stay.

    Nothing to dislike.

The place is situated in the midst of Jungle. You can spot wild animals (mainly elephants, deer n bisons) often near the resort. Mr. Gopa Verma was an excellent host, very friendly, welcoming n caters to needs. He also takes extra effort n suggests nice places for sightseeing. The staffs were very helpful n polite. The food was great, they cook as per our needs. The room was spacious with fire place inside the room. Bathroom was clean n well maintained. Totally a place worth for couples & Family.

The way up to the room is very rocky. It has to be cemented so it'll not difficult to bring the luggage up. The lights are all dim, since it's forest area, there should be a bright light available in each room.

The pool is amazing, very clean. Most likely the ambience is perfect. I love seeing the monkeys playing comfortably around the property.

Kitchen was located at a distance from dining area, could become a problem in rainy season. Parking area need to be improved. Noise of other guests need to be controlled, esp after 11pm. Since it's a homestay type lodge, having a mini fridge (100 litre) in every cottage would be useful for guests. Can keep and sell ice creams in summer at least - will make good business! As you continue to expand, pls arrange an outdoor play area - for volleyball/throwball/ badminton and an indoor one for TT/Fuseball/ pool.

This is a small homestay type property built with a lot of care. Cottage structure is pleasing to the mind. All made with wood, you can hardly see any metal and very little concrete. They have 4 homely staff, more like family. Managed by Shinoj and Somnath, supported very well by Maneesh and Pramila.

The breakfast could have more options and bath towels need to be of better quality.

The location is isolated and inviting the pool could have been a little more cleaner the staff is helpful and receptive, it's not lucious but the stay is unique. Good food and unique room interior make the stay memorable.

The rooms can use a bit of uplift, the bathrooms need fixing, the dining area should be kept clean, try to cook up some breakfast onsite instead of bringing it everytime. Some outdoor activities can be reinstated now that Covid is not a big trouble.

Swimming pool, beautiful surroundings. Food ordered through Holiday hill was exceptional. All staff are very friendly, Jishnu especially is very helpful and friendly.
