IrelandStayed here for 2 nights hoping for a peaceful stay. Our first morning we were woken up by loud drumming to find a whole wedding party right outside our room. So if you are hoping for peaceful luxury this is NOT the hotel for that. 2nd issue was when checking out we get a shocking Approx 12,000 ruppee bill for what the lady at the desk said was room charge. Took a while to figure out what the bill was and turns out they did not charge us correctly at check in! Absolutely shocking. Also the lady at the desk couldn't properly explain things we had to ask for itemised invoices and figure things out ourselves! Not impressed at all! .
The only only redemption this hotel has is the lady that sings at the Ethnic bar. She was lovely

United StatesOh! where to start? This is the worst hotel you can find here. We had two rooms booked here for a night. * Check in Process - You are made to wait for approx 30 min before someone comes and attends to you. The hotel wasn't busy and still made to wait. The loaded the luggage in the cart, and again made to wait for someone to come and take us to the room. They even couldn't issue keys, and had to send someone to open our rooms with master key. During our stay, we didn't have the key card. If you get locked, or step out, you are screwed because you have to walk to the reception desk (mind you, this is a 10 acre property) to ask someone to come and open the room. * Cleanliness - Horrible; after checkin when taking shower, the entire bathroom flooded. Their excuse was, sorry there was hair! Weren't you supposed to clean the bathroom once the previous customer left the room? * Staff - We checked in at around 8:30pm; we asked for room service to deliver food and the staff were quite rude. They basically said, we are busy and we cannot serve you food (they didn't even take the order and say it will take an hour or something). There were few other issues, but I think I have wasted my time/effort on this property way too much till now. Lastly, stay away!
"Don't stay here". Our experience was harrowing, and I don't think I will ever recommend anyone to go and stay here.

United KingdomSomeone partied midnight in a room that’s right above us, with loud music, thudding and after 4 repeated complaints to the reception, the noise stopped and by then it was like 3am so the stay wasn’t as comfortable as expected. There were lot of pamphlets about activities around but usually when you are in a star hotel like Dusit, you would expect the concierge team to take care of it but these guys aren’t ready for such a thing yet, so not sure what’s the point staying away from the city busyness and close to the beach when we are left on our own. Also, the restaurant in-house is just so so. Would I stay here again? I’m not sure! I’m a British Citizen and have travelled to Spain, France, USA, Egypt, Netherlands and many more places and I do think star hotels in India could do better or perhaps learn from the finest like the TAJ.

IndiaAs the resort is spread out, I would recommend increasing the frequency of shuttle/electric car service for ease of access to various facilities especially during summers/rains for a family with kids.
The property was spread out with facilities for every age group. Enjoyed the hospitality. Food was outstanding with excellent service. Must recommended. Lives upto the tag of resort.

This is a fabulous hotel . The staff without exception are attentive , welcoming and go out of their way to help you without being overbearing. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. The pool is absolutely fabulous , the hotel is immaculate throughout and food is excellent . Our room had its own entrance and a separate sitting room . Don’t stay anywhere else if you are going to the beautiful Visakhapatnam! Loved it - thank you !
