    - Mahaballipuram Town Panchayat tax for incoming vehicules should be mentioned clearly on the hotel and booking.com details. It was a surprise to us as it is requested 200m and we suspected fraud so we had to call the hotel to verify (lost time) -Also Staff attention seemed a bit distracted because of a wedding happening Feb 23-26(Should be transparent and constraints, if an, explained clearly to guests which not part of the wedding) -Staff should be guiding guests more (billed twice at check in, acknowledging guest request, giving info on waiting time, placing guest in restaurants ie which side to seat or not)  -Room cleaning , cleaning up room service plates/food takes too much time in morning-needed call front desk several times) -Wifi There seem to be a limit to 3 devices Max to connect to hotel Wifi. Should be increased to at least 6-10 devices

-Pleasant welcome -Excellent location/facilities -Helpful/accomodating staff especially as we are guest with an infant -Appreciated baby food (Mango puree) placed in room fridge on arrival -Accommodated 2h visit to city monuments on short notice (25-Feb) -Room service dining is efficient - Lunch Food and related Service in WaterEdge and Warf restaurants were good quality

Breakfast and evening buffets very crowded and noisy, surroundings unattractive.Seafood restaurant well located and better service. The lack of a quieter table service cafe/restaurant for light lunches or suppers.

Beautiful, well kept grounds and great location. Lovely big swimming pool. Very comfortable accomodation.

The hotel seems to caters for Indian functions. The breakfast choice is therefore limited for European style breakfast. The bar area is ok but nothing special. Our room was good but the bathroom area needs to be updated as shabby.

The pool area which wraps around is stunning It enables guests to have a bit of privacy. Layout in this area is good. The spa is excellent. Gardens are well maintained. Well greater on arrival Lovely lobby area. The Wharf restaurant is worth visiting as the food choice is good and great location by the sea.

There was a wedding going on over the two days we were staying, and it had VERY loud amplification which made it really hard to relax by the pool. Other guests seemed to have been warned about this in advance but we were not, and it would have affected our decision to stay there so we were a bit upset about this.

The food is really excellent here and the staff are generally warm and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the pools are really gorgeous. The gardens and warm weather were delightful.

Some staff in the restaurant gave poor service (and we could not get any service in the bar). Sea view is disappointing (public beach with an ugly security fence), pool side rooms have nicer views in our opinion.

Swimming pool (huge, beautiful) breakfast (variety of options).

They asked us to change rooms between the 2 days of our stay whereas they had confirmed initially that we can continue in the same room. The ridiculous part of it all was that they called at 1.30pm to ask us to change. Thanks to the kind manager who allowed my 2 yr old to sleep for a couple of hours before changing. It was such an uncomfortable experience. I mean no one knows what the other person tells in this property. Everyone is new and no one has a clue. I was almost planning to cut short our trip and check out if they had woken up my little one.

Its vast expanse and proximity to beach is absolutely fantastic.

Suite is slightly small in size for a couple and a kid, some of interiors are starting to wear off. But overall that is expected for a property over time. Pricing is on higher end.

Great location at the beach with our beach suite. Staff provided us with a baby cot that perfectly fit our 6-month baby girl. Very helpful staff overall and we especially loved the afternoon high-tea and the early morning walk on beach. We also took our baby on stroller from beach suite to the breakfast area every morning and ahead absolutely loved it.

Breakfast was average as I didn't feel they were fresh enough. I was expecting the rooms to have larger bathrooms. It was really small compared to the overall size of the room. Not sure why. The mini bar was really average and I was ok to pay, but hardly anything was available.

Rooms were huge and the view was good. i liked the restaurant Wharf as seafood was pretty good.

The room was okay. There was a bad smell coming from the bathroom drains in the evening. Which also came into the bedroom and made for a very uncomfortable stay. We reached out to the reception and they sent someone who just came and sprayed some room freshener. The smell was back the next evening. The restaurant where the breakfast was served was laid out in a very congested way. The bar sindbaad was very cold, playing music from a vh1 tv channel. It felt very sad, and the place was dingy. Overall, it was disappointing because the price is not justified for the poorly maintained property.

The pool and the wharf restaurant were great. This is where we spent most of our time. The staff was very helpful.

Inordinate slow service in restaurants.nearly 15 of our family stayed there recently. My cousin from Canada stayed in Room 507 from 27-30 January 2025. He had a four year old kid. He ordered a fried egg and toast to room. Learning that it would take 40 minutes he transferred the order to restaurant stating he will eat at the restaurant after 40 minutes. The restaurant agreed and he turned up at the restaurant after forty minutes. The restaurant took another 40 minutes to place fried egg n toast on his table. Again dinner was organised for a group of eight at the Wharf and orders were placed for two big crabs in the forenoon . When v turned up for dinner Wharf took another hour and a half more to place the food on our table

Hygiene of the room was not good. Pool was very poor Too many crows outside and around the pool making a lot of noise, it’s annoying after a while Lots of weddings and parties take place in this resort, so lots of noise of other guests. It feels like you are a guest at another person’s party instead of being on holiday yourself

Beach restaurant Personnel is very very kind

More vegan options but the food was great! A tea room or coffee place would make it perfect.

Comfortable and secure place with great staff, nice food and lovely bedrooms. We wanted somewhere where we could relax and take our time and found it here. The swimming pool was wonderful and the food great! I had a facial there too and iit left my skin super soft and glowing.

Our kids were delighted by the size of the pool. However, we were concerned about the water quality, since it appeared cloudy. We would have appreciated a poolside snack bar, but we were able to find someone to take a food/drink order. Finally, our room did not look as warm as those in the pictures, I would say it was a little more basic - our room was perfectly clean and comfortable, but I was a little surprised given the price of this place.

Loved sitting on the front porch, feeling the ocean breeze and watching the sunrise. Beautiful grounds and very accommodating staff. Very accessible to Mahabalipuram. We appreciated that there was a playground. The fish at Wharf 2.0 was delicious and we loved the location and seaside shack feel of that restaurant!

Beach access was not as good as other resorts; it was dirty and not private. While buffet spread was excellent, all items were not fresh and cooked to high standard.

Location, room, swimming pool, breakfast and dinner buffet spread, complimentary tea Staff were very nice, specially would thank waiter Shakti who looked after very nicely during meals.
