They costed a little more than our usual budget.

The central location, helpful staff and the dorm rooms, all were fantastic. They also maintain a collection of books for travellers to read, which was a nice touch. The bed rooms are small but cozy. The beds are comfortable and regularly cleaned.

I wish the dormitory size was little bigger. There was very less space to keep the trolley bags open.

What I didn't appreciate however was being charged 100r and 50r more, per night, than my Israeli and Indian roommates respectively. It was also incredibly hot and our room had no fan or ac. Finally, the 9am check out resulted in bathroom conflict among some roommates.

The building is really lovely and so is the lawn. The place is clean and the staff seems nice. The location is next to leh palace but I've marked it down for location because Google maps thinks it's in a different location, despite my updating the app. This meant I had a difficult arrival being unable to find the hostel at night and ending up sleeping above some hair salon instead. Kashmir and ladakh has no phone or data coverage (until you get a local sim) which means you can't call or email anyone for assistance. However the owner rectified the situation by collecting me the following day which I really appreciated a lot.

Poor ventilation, it got really suffocated at night. No water dispenser on the floor had to go all the way to the reception to get water. No toiletries(soap) . A common viper in the washroom would have been nice to leave the floor clean for the next person. No kitchen it was a little hectic everytime to go out to the market if you are hungry. But I appreciate the hotel staff gave tea and bread omelette when requested specially when one is tired. Bed side switches didn't work because of the wiring issue.

I really appreciated my days here, the owner and the staff are very kind and easy going people! The atmosphere in the hostel is pleasant and surrounded by positive vibes, and the staff is already ready to help you in any way :) The hostel's location is super: you need less than five minutes walk to reach leh market, passing through a small street dotted with local shops where you can taste typical fresh Kashmiri biscuits and bread and have a chai, a very good way to start the day! :) I'll definitely recommend to stay here! Great location, dorm was clean, super comfy beds. Staff friendly and helpful. Especially loved the courtyard terrace where they offered morning yoga classes. Overall a very peaceful stay. Good value for money!

the hotel is situated in an ally, it's tricky to find and get there on a motorcycle (like I was). and depending on how fit you are - 3rd floor can he difficult if you carry bags and not climatized yet.

Very nice chilled place, close to the center where to get you trip going. lots of rooms with a young crowd make the evening fun since each floor has a communal sitting area so people get the chance to meet and chill.

Budget accommodation with the basics done right. Very cooperative and friendly staff. Comfortable beds and rooms. Good facilities. I've stayed here twice. A good dorm to stay in Leh.

The bathroom was very dirty, clean up was only done when it was raised with the host. No proper drinking water supply,you have to fill it from kitchen sink which basically stinked and was dirty. Wifi was poor too,so forget wfh. There was also no vibe to the hostel, the common area was good but no one used it much.

The host were good and took care of every requirements. Location was good enough though one needs to walk around 15 mins to reach main market. Did not try the food so can't comment.

Bathroom water slope was reverse and water gets logged inside bathroom. Price of the hotel is kept less to boost reservation however they take offline booking by requesting the vistor by giving un digestible reason of bug in the website booking.com a cheap trick to get extra money from stuck tourist /visitor.
