Housekeeping sometimes came at inconvenient times late in the afternoon, frustrating when we’ve been out of the room for a good few hours already.

The staff were the best part, they were extremely attentive and always happy to help. The facilities were great with a good size swimming pool, a large gym with a good number of free weights, in-house massage facilities. Location was great, very close to all the shops, restaurants and the beach.

Breakfast started at 8.00AM, which was too late as we needed to leave then. No one at reception either.

Dinner closes at 8 PM. That is sometimes not practical. Breakfast for 3 days was almost the same with very minimal changes on each day. This can be improved.

Unfortunately, the breakfast selection was very limited, and the few available dishes were exclusively from Indian cuisine. It was quite odd, especially considering that there are many cafes in the area offering diverse and delicious breakfast options at affordable prices. It seemed strange that such a good hotel in every other aspect provided a breakfast that lacked variety.

Excellent hotel location with friendly and responsive staff. Large rooms and spacious bathroom. Everything was very clean. Nice pool as well.

A fairly modern hotel in a great location. We really enjoyed our stay here. Super comfortable bed in large room with balcony. Very clean and friendly staff who were very helpful. The staff were so lovely and helpful. Anything we needed help with they were available to help. The pool was a fantastic addition. The location is brilliant as it is a 2 minute walk from the cliffs and beach.

It was our first time visiting Varkala. We stayed as a family for 7 days at Sajjoys in 3 superior double rooms. Sajjoys is a very cosy and beautiful four-star hotel. It looks exactly like in the pictures on the website. You are greeted by a combination of family atmosphere, sincere hospitality and warm ambience which makes you feel very welcome and comfortable in the moment you enter the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and nice in every way. Especially the bed was a great positive surprise for those among us who have back problems. The sleeping experience was awesome due to great quality matrasses and cushions. All facilities and amenities like pool, restaurant, gym, etc. were well maintained. The food in the restaurant was delicious and was freshly prepared once the meal order has been given. The location of the hotel is perfect because it is only a 2-minute walk to the cliffs and the beach where you have numerous restaurants and souvenir shops. There are enough possibilities for sightseeing and excursions. We would like to recommend a visit to Kappil Beach and a boats tour on the backwaters. After having stayed in various hotels on 4 different continents the stay at Sajjoys is definitely on the top of the list of best experiences ever. The overall experience was completed due to the exceptional service of every staff member who were always very delightful and eager to help! A very special thanks goes to Mr. Sajeer and Mr. Praveen who went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible by arranging and organizing really everything for us! We highly recommend Sajjoys for anyone visiting Varkala. If we ever decide to visit Varkala again we will definitely come back to Sajjoys. It was such a joy at Sajjoys!
