Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Rosie was the perfect host and Mawimawii ran the restaurant with excellent food and service - the resort is spotless and all staff were welcoming and kind - if we could we would have stayed longer - in fact if we could we would have stayed forever !

IndiaThe food wasn’t up to standard. Flavours were mostly right but our order was missed one evening (even though the hotel only has 3 villas) and it wasn’t always clear from the menu what sides came with each dinner. Food was often brought out in random order. No issues with a served when ready approach, but this should be communicated upfront.
Room was one of the best I’ve stayed in. Lovely private pool, really relaxing vibe and a nice outdoor space. Staff are amazing and a shoutout to Rosie who couldn’t do enough for us.

Romania1- It is listed as beachfront but it isn’t. To get to the beach (which is sadly full of plastic), you need to hike for 25 minutes through the jungle. 2- It is very far from everything you might want to do so you need to account for taxis (30 minutes and 25 USD each way) daily for doing anything 3 - There is nothing to do. I would qualify it as a 5 star lodge with private pools but not a resort 4 - Dinner starts at 7 only, if you have kids and need to eat at 6, it’s not possible 5 - AC constantly cuts off and can’t keep up cooling
It is very quiet and relaxing, amazing food, nice staff

IndiaThe location was a bit far off from the rest of the islands attractions but that in a way is also part of its appeal
The tastefully designed villas, the envelope of greenery around the property and most of all the property manager Rosie who was incredibly kind, helpful and responsive

PortugalIt’s a bit isolated so if you wanna do some activities out of the hotel or go somewhere to eat it can be a bit difficult and pricey - in terms of logistics and tuk tuk/car rides. Anyway the hotel arranges everything if you wanna go out. If you just wanna stay and relax you have everything close by.
Great amenities, staff was super friendly and helpful, the room was big and clean and we had the whole villa all to ourselves as well as the swimming pool because there were no other guests in the same dates. Food was delicious, amazing breakfast! We did a massage and it was great! They give you their WhatsApp number so you can contact if you need anything or even to order food in advance to eat in your room or restaurant. The place is very quiet and calm and it’s in the middle of the jungle which gives it a unique vibe.

IndiaLiked everything about the property. The exquisite location amidst nature is the highlight. The villas were luxurious. Best part was the private beach which was a complete surprise for us. Food was also excellent and the restaurant serves great variety of sea food. The restaurant also has this beautiful sunset view which we really enjoyed. Kudos to the entire team. Keep up the good work.

IndiaWe recently had the pleasure of staying at Satya , and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The resort is nestled in a stunning location, with a pristine private beach. The accommodations were luxurious and well-appointed, offering breathtaking views of the rainforest. The restaurant, in particular, was a favorite, offering fresh seafood and delightful cocktails while we enjoyed the sunset. Overall this resort exceeded all our expectations and provided a perfect blend of luxury, relaxation, and adventure. We can't wait to return.

IndiaNo matter what we did, the AC could not cool the room sufficiently. The staff did their best to help though
Tucked away in the jungle with access to a private beach, it was just what we were looking for. Quiet and peaceful, amazing staff who went above and beyond to take care of us. Great food at the restaurant too! Icing on the cake was the ability to lie in bed and watch the most glorious sunrises, made some wonderful memories

EstoniaThe one and only dissapointment was candle light dinner as it was super expencive and was really plain. Food was not bad, but very regular seating with few runny candles. 5 course dinner ment that you had to choose 5 dishes to share. And a bottle of cold red wine. So I suggest to improve that part a lot.
Beautiful location in the real jungle forest. Gardening well done. Picture perfect houses and dining area. Quality bathroom amneties. Comfortable bed.

IndiaThe property is advertised as beachfront, which is not exactly true. The beach is a 10-15 minute walk (trek?) through the forest, and while this is a pleasant experience, those expecting to be by the beach would be disappointed. Satya is also quite far from the jetty. Expect to pay at least Rs.700 one way to go back to the jetty. The road is also pretty bad right now (Dec 2023), although it seems to be getting done up. If the road is good, then a better option would be to rent cycles or two-wheelers for the duration of the stay. The jetty and main market is still going to be 20-25 minutes by bike even if the road is done.
It's located in a banana plantation and is the pefect location for a secluded getaway. The rooms are very spacious and the view is spectacular. The private pools are awesome and the fact that there are only three villas means the service is quite personal.

United KingdomWe spent eight perfect and magical days at Satya and had the most incredible time. Everything was perfect, from the food, the room surroundings and especially the incredible staff. Rosy and her team made us feel so welcome and part of their family while we were there on honeymoon, with hints and tips about what to do and where to go. Special thanks to Moses and Mawii who looked after us at breakfast, lunch and dinner, serving us Thlanga & Isaac’s incredible food. We also got a fantastic massage from Angelie while housekeepers Ruattea and Mawia took incredible care looking after our villa. It is in a remote location but Rosy will help you get rickshaws to get around the island. A perfect stay!

IndiaThe road to the property is extremely bad limiting the options for anyone to go out. This itself doesn’t justify the price of the resort. The location is a big part any property’s rent cost. Also the food is really good but the portions are really small for the price. Again the same point of being a little in the price bracket to justify the cost. You will get properties with slightly higher price but will be in a much better place for anyone to explore the place. Staying here will eventually cost much higher because food and transportation will be extremely high.
Really nice staff. The place is beautiful and the staff goes out of their way to make your stay wonderful.
