Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Comfortable bed, lovely staff, excellent location. Very large and spacious suites with effective central air. The only downside is that parts of the building (hallways, stairs) feel very dated and in need of upgrading, and some room materials probably need refreshing.

Our room was a bit jaded and could do with some refurbishment. Wifi was very poor.

Limited in house food options. Main door for the room 201 not locking automatically when you close from outside. You need to close it hard to get the lock activated. Since there is an electronic door lock installed, it’s not recommended for a property of this class.

Air conditioning goes off in the night. Between 1 AM and 5 AM. Only blower. Rooms becomes stuffy. No fan either. Had experienced this during my earlier stay also

The rooms and fittings are a bit tired. The door lock on my room door did not work. The room was left unlocked after it was cleaned which was disturbing. There were no hand towels in the room and I had to ask for them each day.

Could provide more cutlery and crockery in the room, towels were provided but low quality, air conditioning despite working well were noisy.

They have fragile decorative items in the rooms. The occupant has to be very careful around them. I think 650 INR penalty charge for accidental breakage of a miniature statue is a rip off!
