Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IndiaBreakfast was a choice of Pohe or toast and eggs or stuffed paratha with tea or coffee. This was served fresh and hot in the dinning room and was satisfying. We also ordered from their menu for some lunches and dinners as the food was in the home cooking style, a respite from continous hotel food. The best feature of the hotel was being able to sit out on the lawn or veranda and have tea served and just relax. Felt very pampered. The atmosphere was very homelike. We also used their laundry service and got out clothes washed and ironed in the evening after giving in the morning

Lovely peaceful oasis in the middle of a chaotic city. Great to come back to this peaceful heritage hotel after a day of sightseeing and beeping horns in the city.

IndiaRoom amenities could be improved.
We were a group of 8 people and had a comfortable stay for 6 nights. If you have set your expectations straight, the property will make you feel at home. Very basic amenities but justifiable in the price you pay. Decent breakfast is available. We would recommend for basic budget stay.

IndiaFew amenities are missing like kettle for warm water with tea and coffee satches The 2 water bisleri bottles are charged. It might be their policy but should have been informed The dining room and the kitchen surely needs upgrade. More variety in breakfast should be there as it is fixed and very limited choice.
The place is secure and safe for travellers with car as it has a secure internal parking. The place has a nice greenery effect and a well maintained garden. The lady owner is very graceful and courteous. The place is big and airy and the garden gets plenty of sunlight during winters for a relaxing get together. Good place for couples who need quite and privacy with good ambience

United KingdomThere was quite alot of traffic noise as it’s not far from Ajmer Road. We tried the A/C and the fan but they were both very loud and you could hear the fan in the next room. It’s a bit dated. Don’t expect anything modern, but we enjoyed it nonetheless the less.
A lovely heritage property - an original palace- a part of which is lived in by the owner Mrs Singh and her family. There is a sit out with a table and two chairs on a shared balcony. Breakfast was served in the pretty garden. We ate dinner there one evening which was tasty. It’s a short walk from Civil Lines metro station which costs pence to get you to the railway, bus stand or to the markets and city palace.

GermanyThe mattresses were slightly too hard, as is often the case in India and the rooms a bit dark as they are tucked away behind the seating areas of the terraces.
The setting is beautiful, each room has a comfortable seating area along the long terraces overlooking the garden, sitting in the lush garden is also possible. Both the room and bathroom were very clean, sheets, towels, oversheet and doona, all impeccably clean, were provided. Many details like a proper wardrobe and bedside lights were great. The complimentary breakfast was a choice between a couple of simple breakfast options. Additionally, the kitchen can cook tea, coffee and a few simple veggie and egg dishes for very reasonable prices on order until late evening, meal deliveries from outside were also allowed. The owner, Mrs Singh, and the manager were very friendly and helpful, we had nice conversations and overall a very relaxing stay at the palace hotel. They seem to be a rare kind that reject fake reviews of their property, the photos are exact and representative and the reviews seem to be all genuine. We would definitely stay in this peaceful beautiful oasis when visiting Jaipur again .
