Walking distance to the Taj which is realistically why you’re coming here. Clean modern bedroom with a nice shower. Good tv, we watched a movie in bed with no issues. Room has no window despite the curtains in the photo. There was also no terrace which is mentioned on the listing.

We spent two nights at Shivalayaa and I can only recommend it. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming. Only the room could be a little bit bigger for two people and a window would be nice. But nonetheless, very nice accomodation.

Had one of my best sleep out of 20 nights in india. The room was dark, quiet and comfortable. The staff is professional and friendly and managed all our requests. I would definitely come back here.

The location was quiet and about a km walk from the Taj. Close to shops and a nice restaurant. We had lunch at Shivalayaa which was very nice and breakfast was also good. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were helpful and they arranged a pickup from the airport before we arrived. Would definitely recommend.

Amazingly supportive of early arrival and late checkout. This really helps when transportation is outside the listed check in/checkout times. Great location within walking distance of Taj Mahal and many restaurants nearby. Clean with good hot water and a very comfortable bed. Professional and helpful staff.

Great place to stay when you have plan to visit Taj Mahal (it’s just few minutes by walk). The breakfasts are very good, which is a great addition to the offer – truly amazing! The staff at the place are incredibly friendly and helpful! Owners and staff are very communicative and kind, always available to answer any questions. They were consistently attentive during our stay, ensuring our comfort and showing genuine care throughout.

I think because of where our room was positioned we could hear some construction work during the night. Earplugs would fix that though.

Lovely and friendly homestay. The place was clean and the shower powerful and hot and the bed comfortable. The balcony is nice too and overlooks the back alley. Breakfast had lots of choice and eggs cooked to order, as well as Indian choices we had fruit and cereal. It’s within walking distance of the Taj Mahal so very convenient

Glass above the door made the room a bit light - not a major problem though.

Excellent location for visiting the Taj Mahal - 10 minutes walk to the east gate. Breakfast was arranged for 10.30 when we returned from seeing the Taj at Sunrise. It was an excellent breakfast! So much choice. The room was the best we stayed at in India.

All was good as expected.

We were very happy with the helpfulness of the owner, the location, the value, and the food. We had 2 dinners and breakfasts during our stay - the menu selection is very good, prices very fair, and the food delicious. Most is not cooked on site because the great food takes too long for a small homestay. Instead it is brought in to order from various nearby cooks and each item was delicious. Much better than crap tourist restos11 .

The Property is located in quiet Locality, very near to Tajmahal. One can easily reach to tajmahal in 10 to 15 minutes. Tuk tuks are also availble easily to Reach other major attractions of Agra like Red fort & Baby Taj. The Host Mr Manish is a helpful one, he helped us find nice restaurants around. the Breakfast provided was also good. We will certainly reccomend Shivalayaa to Ohers.

Breakfast was good quantity, cooked fresh. Cereal, toast, eggs of your choosing, fruit and a choice of tea, coffee or Masala Chai. Guests were able to eat before setting out for the day or on their return from sunrise at the Taj etc. The host (Minesh) was attentive and available to answer questions and provide advice. The property is well-managed and the rooms have, tea, coffee, cookies, candy and ample water. Located in a quiet tree-lined side street. Located close to the Taj Mahal, Metro, Agra Fort and local eateries.
