I recently stayed at the Hotel and was thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating, and made sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The food served was delicious and varied, with a great selection of traditional dishes as well as some innovative creations. I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel, as well as the attention to detail in the decor. Overall, my stay at the Hotel was more than I expected, and I would definitely recommend it to others.

A couple of things - the bathroom fixtures were not great. The shower does not have a good water mixing system so you get a blast of intensely hot water followed by a blast of cold water, It was a little scary at times as I was afraid of getting scalded. The taps don't really shut off very well and can drip. The second issue is that the rooms are not completely smoke free and people smoke inside (really! This is 2022 for crying out loud!), The rooms can smell really stale without air circulation. The staff though is absolutely amazing and are highly responsive to cleaning the rooms, picking up trash from the outside, helping with luggage etc. I didn't mention the bathroom water temp issue to them. If I were the owner I would do 3 things - insist that people don't smoke inside and penalize people if they do (a cleaning fee deposit would be good). - Work on the ventilation for the rooms so fresh air is circulated - Fix the plumbing issues in the bathroom (water temp consistence).

The location was great and the rooms were well laid out and comfortable. The wifi was good. When power was cut, the backup generator (I assume) came on and we didn't feel the absence. The staff is just amazingly responsive and warm. Kudos to them.
