The bathroom requires more thorough cleaning, The toilet flush isn't functioning properly in my room number 215 and there's a persistent musty odor in the room. If you booked through Booking.com, they keep messaging you for advance confirmation; otherwise, your booking confirmation won't be done. I don’t know why my credit card details were there to block the amount.

The location is excellent, and the on-site café and bar were wonderful additions to the experience. My room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful large windows offering lovely garden views.

Washroom faucets not working properly. Room Phone service and WiFi was cutoff early morning on our departure day, caused little inconvenience in reaching our driver.

Beautiful old palace with a huge amount of character and huge amount of potential. Restaurant has some great dishes and staff a very helpful.

Bed mattress needs to be changed. The springs are old and the mattress sinks way too much making it uncomfortable. Power plug points need to be changed to accommodate mobile and laptop chargers. Washroom has water logging on the floor. The incline is not proper towards the outlet.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Food and service is great. The attached balcony is a great place to relax.

Rooms require proper renovation, the furniture was too antique. Bathroom also require proper renovation. There was no bathing stool or stand, there was either spout or head shower, which made it difficult to bath as they didn't provide shower cap or bucket. Towels were not so good ass one cannot wipe their wet body as it did not soak water.

Breakfast was good spread but muffins and croissants though eggless were too hard. We are pure vegetarians and we have eggless confectionery around so in that comparison it was not too good. they can have more fresh fruits and fresh juices.

The breakfast buffet was below my expectation, poor maintenance of washroom in my room was a turn off, room was not maintained same as illustrated in the images and the cost of luxury room was bit on higher side compared to what I received.

The hotel is a former palace that gives a nice overall vibe to the place, there is a boutique available inside the hotel with reasonably priced handcrafted products and the hotel staff is very courteous.

myself and my parent were stranded on the lift for a few minutes, cos of some malfunction.. we had to bang the door , but nobody came to rescue.. my elderly parent inside the lift was getting anxious and sufocated.. except for the Alarm bell which wud also fail in case of a power failure , no other rescue alert options were available inside the lift.. no emergency rescue phone call numbers displayed inside the lift, there was no land phone either inside the lift to alert people outside .. these are bare minimum things that should exist in a Premier hotel like yours..safety is pertinent..

House keeping needs focus, timely attendance of room issues missing. Property needs upgrade, old equipments and technology.

Nothing to dislike. Everything was in order. One of the rooms had an issue with the hair dryer and we spoke to housekeeping about it and it was replaced soon.

Very good rooms with all basic amenities provided. Breakfast was also nice with a lot of options to choose from and every day one or 2 new options were added. Pool and Spa were equally good and refreshing. Very close to Varanasi railway station platform 9.
