Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bed were so confortable, and you can have some privacy thanks to the curtains in the dorms. Having a swiming pool was a plus because it get really hot in Pushkar.

Nothing.
We had a very nice stay. We were upgraded for some reason. There was a family party organised during our stay and we could enjoy the music and everything. It was really nice. Staff was very helpful. The room was big and very clean. The location is just perfect in the center of Pushkar near the lake. Filtered water available for free.

Little stains on the sheets
The staff was so nice. I was really sick here and the hostel manager Karan there proposed to take me to the doctor, they were always taking care of my health. I had a beautiful private room, very clean and comfortable. The hostel is very big, didn't have the opportunity to taste the food but it looked yummy, big beautiful garden, and located right on the ghats and on the lake :)

The room could be a bit more clean. When I asked to fix the bed light, they didn’t do anything about it and didn’t update me…
Nice garden in the middle of the city. Very well located.

Rooms were not worth the cost. Dirty walls and lack of cupboards. I have been to other hosteller rooms as well and by far this was the furthest from the mark. No one told about the Wi-Fi. water cooler had no glasses so it was just supposed to be a communal watering center?
Friendly staff. Connectivity to central/main spots of the city

there was a no foreigners allowed rule my boyfriend came in my room and the hotel manager knocked at the door and kicked him out it was very weird. also there were no hot water they were really Cold

Had to ask each night to have the ac turned on or off (no remote on the room). No ability to lock any of the lockers. This means they are drawers not lockers! You cant use a padlock and are meant to use a specific key. Supposedly the keys are 'missing' but this was true for every locker in the hostel! Was never told about a curfew but the hostel gate was locked at night with no easy way in or out!
Best hostel location in pushkar. Friendly staff, very nice hostel to relax in, lots of shaded seating. Beds were good

The locker is not working, unsafe to keep staff there. No towels
The staff was very nice! It was possible to leave my belongings there for a while on the day of check out. International community Very nice zones for sitting and chilling Cafe with different cuisines

they charge to much for laundry and also in general. i think they charge to much for what you get. you find cheaper and better places. i dont know why hosteller hostels are so expensive. its nothing special

Hygiene wasn't upto the standard. Also, for some reason, they don't allow people from Ajmer district to stay there. Though, they made an exception for me. But weird.
The space was massive. I had many options to just sit outside my room and relax. Also, the location is prime. All the tourist spots are nearby.

I’ve moved here from another hostel for one night and stayed almost a week. Its so Peaceful and chilled with a lovely staff and great location towards the main bazaars, absolutely loved it here. :)

-there are better hosteller in India. But still ok -property looks a little bit old but they are trying theire best to fix all the things at the moment -water refill are very old. Unfortunately I got food poisoning of it.

It was a good memory and experience of my first stay of 2023. Babu Bhaiya is very polite and helpful at the reception. The food is also good and madhu bhaiya gives nice smile and salt along with the food for free.😅 but they don't give you much sugar for bonfire...everything was good...
