United KingdomThe pictures of our room made it look like we had a balcony over the Ganges but the property sits on a busy road and there are other shops etc in front of it before the Ganges (although we could see the Ganges in the distance).
We received a warm welcome on arrival at the property from the lovely staff (who were always on hand to help). The room was clean, comfy and had the best shower and aircon in a hostel we have had in India! The shampoo/ shower gel etc. provided is also so lovely. There is also good drinking water on tap which is a great plus!

GermanyThe common areas do not look like on the pictures. The rooftop terrace is missing the furniture that is shown with the beautiful sunset, so the view is nice but you cannot enjoy it as the terrace is literally empty. Also, everything is organised in an app, even ordering and paying for a cup of tea in the Café, which takes very long and seems weird, its missing the personal connection to people. Also the check-in one needs to do in the app, but only possible with the help of the staff so a classical example of outsourcing work to the customer and selling it as a service. The taxi fares offered by the hostel are horrendous, one is better off just taking any cab. Everything seems highly standardized and impersonal, which is not the hostel vibe international travellers appreciate.
The rooms are modern and clean, the beds are comfy and there is a kettle and tea bags, so everything you need is there and in good quality!

IndiaDorm rooms didn't have keys for the main door. Many open spaces (2-3) but they could restrict people from smoking in the cafeteria area.
Stayed in Female dorm. It was clean and spacious. They have really nice open spaces to pass you time, along with good menu at their cafeteria. Location is good, near to Laxman jhula and walkable 3km to Ram jhula. Have many restaurants, cafes, shops and scooty rentals around the hostel.

Czech RepublicOur view wasn’t the best but we didn’t expect anything special and obviously since the location is very central there are the sounds of the street since early morning. But we consider it normal.
We had a quite large and very comfortable double room. Better than in some 3 star hotels. It was one of the cleanliest accommodations we’ve had in India so far. The location is just perfect, in the middle of laxman jhula, with many cafes and restaurants around. Staff is helpful and very friendly. There is water on each floor so that we could refill our bottles.

Too little hangers for towels etc, bad laundry service, scooter service to bus stop was ok but destroyed one item as it was dragging on the street...

BulgariaDue to the fact that laxman jhula is closed, you are cut off from Tapovan. Water taxis are not very regular and the wait is long.
The location is very good if you are interested in hanging around this side of the river - plenty of shops, places to eat and yoga classes. It's also quiet and relaxing. Bathroom was great and clean. As a solo traveler, I met amazing women in the dormitory and was very happy I chose that instead of a private room.

It seemed like they didn’t change the sheets of the blanket and even when we asked to change it, the cleaning staff just turned the blanket around. The receptionist gave us another room, when we requested one with a window (mostly they don’t have windows). He also made an earlier check in possible, which was nice. The rooftop terrace was pretty decent and had a good view.
