In all fairness, we were in Varanasi when it was amazingly crowded (during Kumbh), but still the value proposition and hotel location are not worth it. The hotel itself is located at least half an hour away from anything worthwhile. On top of that the hotel is under staffed and a lot of facilities just seem incomplete. Hope things pick up from here.

This is a new hotel and that becomes apparent very quickly. However the staff (at least one of them) was very helpful and co-operative. Special mention of Madhav who seemed to be the only person running around and doing everything from odd jobs and maintenance to room service and manning the reception at night.

Distance. Attention to details: not have toilet paper, one hanger. Unusual for the kind of property and pricing.

Clean and quiet. Outside is excellent to sit and relax. Given the unusual circumstances I think it is a good place. I would have liked to get a chair in the room.

Peaceful Place with a clean environment which was a welcome treat after te noise of Varanasi'straffic :-) Excellent service by Mr Madhav who took care of all our needs. Very polite and taking care to organise our needs. Mr Abhishek was also very polite and gave us some goods tips for the city visits. Overall a good place to stay.

Currently major roadworks going on outside of the resort and therefore it was quite dusty.

Food menu was limited and service was a bit slow at the restaurant. This could be because it was quite late.

The main reason for rating this resort quite high is because of the staff. They embody the true principles of hospitality and service by going above and beyond their responsibilities to help a foreign traveler like me during the busiest period in Varanasi (Kumbh Mela festival ongoing). Everything from finding a local guide to fixing a local transport (Tuk-Tuk or motorbike) to making food late in the evening to translating for me, they did it with sincerity. This goes the same for the staff at Art Varanasi (the sister hotel). For the couple of dishes I ordered, it was really tasty and authentic. And this is my evaluation after having stayed at several fancy 5-star hotels in India during my trip.

Breakfast was below average very limited choice of food. .There were only three dishes to choose from .Food quality was terrible and below average. Short staffed , service was very poor and tool a long time for order to come on to our tables.No cutlery and crockery. A cup of tea took 20 minutes to arrive on the table .This was the case when there were no other guests in the coffee shop besides three of us.

One staff boy Madhav and the lady at the reception were exceptionally good and helpful with the limited resources available to them. Location is good as its away form the main hustle bustle of the city so it is quite and peaceful. Lunch served to us on the day we arrived was good.

Unhygienic and suffocating rooms . Staff is very casual and passing responsibilities to each other . Logistically not well connected . Ambience is very poor and food is hopeless . kitchen staff is new and completely untrained .

They can’t even give you the bill. They write on paper manually and give it to you for which they take hours. Food service is pathetic. You will need to wait for at least two hours if you order something. Breakfast is being prepared after 9 am. Room service is pathetic. The manager here is very irresponsible, even after telling him that the trip is extended, he forgets and will call you to check out. He has no sense of hospitality business at all and is not courteous
